NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM Nos. 01 to 05: (a)The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the following: (i) Greasing & oiling to all mechanical parts, ARD maintenance, top up of hydraulic oil, steel ropes, checking of cabin movement, door movement etc. (ii) Replacement of spare parts like ARD, ARD batteries, mother board, control panels (both inside and outside lift), LEDs, push buttons, switches, door locks, door drives, steel rope, car drive parts, ceiling lights and fans and all other parts as and when found defective. (iii) Technician/ Supervisor/ Service Engineer charges as and when services are provided. (b) The job has to be carried out on Monthly basis and test reports to be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. (c) The L1 tenderer has to submit agreement with OEM or OEM recommended authorised dealer before award of tender within 15 days on getting intimation of becoming L1 tenderer from e-tendering portal of MES, failing which the bid shall be disqualified and an amount notified as EMD shall be recovered and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later stage.

S&F battery lead copper conductor single core 70sq.mm, 2 metre long (two nos) complete including soldering of copper lugs including disconnecting and taking down unserviceable battery lead complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for removing oil/ grease deposits, oil/ paint/ corrosion flakes and cleaning the external surface of 160 KVA DG set of make: Cummins, using wire brushes, coarse cloth, cleaning agents etc. and applying two coats of heat retardant paint of approved tint by spray application complete including necessary T&P like spray gun, air compressor etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling, dismounting and transportation of 30/100/125KVA/160 KVA DG set alternator assembly of existing Make: Kirloskar/Cummins/Ashok Leyland from its foundation and rewinding of main stator with suitable gauge of F class enamelled winding wire of copper as per OEM recommendations, air drying, insulating varnish and becktrol red, heating insulation etc. and refixing/reassembling the alternator assembly to its foundation including connection,amputation,hot and cold checkups etc.inluding alignment and testing all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Rate includes necessary transportation to workshop and back.

Disconnecting/ dismantling 3 phase, 440 volts, 50 cycles electrical motor from the centrifugal/monoblock pumpset (electrically and mechanically) connected to DG set Cooling tower/coil cooler from its location and shifting to work shop, opening the motor end cover, taking out rotor, taking out burnt stator winding, cleaning the stator and rewinding of motor with appropriate gauge, weight and turns of super enamelled copper winding wire using proper Garware insulating paper, insulating with Class I varnish, and oven drying for requisite insulation values, reassembling the motor completely and bringing back to its original location, cleaning the impeller of pump, supply & replace gland rope, greasing, replacement of unserviceable spares of pump, fixing back in position, connecting back electrically and mechanically with proper alignment and testing complete all as specified and as directed for 15/20/30HP capacities of centrifugal/monoblock pumpsets/44BHP Diesel driven Pump set of any make. NOTES: (i) Insulation of winding shall be Class 'B' upto 7.5 HP and Class 'F' for 10 HP and above. (ii) Spares like bronze impeller, bearing, bush, bronze casing ring, gland plate shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this BOQ as SUPPLY ONLY. (ii) Old material obtained from replacement shall be contractor's property as per Schedule of credit given in tender.
