M & L Earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in the ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 m below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected with galvanised steel earth strip of size 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers protected by 40mm bore light grade GI pipe, funnel with 20mm bore GI medium grade pipe for watering, wire mesh, including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, with 40 mm thick Pre-cast R.C.C. (1:2:4) type B-I cover slab reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bar @ 10 cm C/C both ways and suitable handle of 12 mm dia round bar, including providing charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layers of 15 cm compacted thickness all around the earth electrode, with, aluminium lugs, complete in all respect and other end connected with main switch board or Earthing test point as directed, including necessary earth work and disposal of spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and necessary testing on completion inclduing taking down old one complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead with copper strip of size 20x3mm mm, fixed to wall on batten or recesses or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, as required complete all specified and directed.

M & L for Earth chamber of size 700x700mm (External size) with PCC 1:3:6, Type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggegrates including necessary earth work in any type of soil all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 03 of MES Schedule Part I complete inclduing dismantling of existing broken earth chamber as specified and as directed.

M & L Earth chamber cover of pre-cast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggergates of size 550x550x40mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT steel bars @10cm centre to centre in both direction and 2 Nos-12mm dia MS handle of suitable size all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 03 of MES Schedule Part I complete as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair GI Funnel with wire mesh on existing 40mm dia pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs galvanised steel tube 40mm bore, light grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors as in protection pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs galvanised steel tube 20mm bore, light grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors as in protection pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos of 8mm dia 25mm long hexoganal head screw complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for complete maintenance of existing earthing system by cleaning the earth chamber, funnel, wire mesh and adding adequate water with 20Kg salt complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long fixed to overhead reservoir as in lightening protection with necessary connections to earthing etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement high voltage synthetic insulating mat suitable for safety of worker on up to 3.3 KV, black or blue colour Class A of size 2m x 1m x 10 mm complete all as specified and directed

M & L Complete removal of existing treatment/ painting of old metal surfaces of Panel Boards / DBs over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of simens grey colour over a coat of red oxide primer and marking the Qtr No, Panel Board No in front side complete all as specified and directed by engineer in Charge.

Supply & Installation in repairs of advance conductive compound based chemical compound technology with upgraded high tensile low carbon steel rod as per UL 467 and as per BS 7430 with copper coating 250 microns and Earthing system shall be confirming to IS:3034. The ROD shall be 17.2 mm & 3 meter length with rod to tape clamp, CR 125 (type A) additional protection of the terminal. Chemical compound should be the highly Conductive Compound as per BSEN 50164-7 with 03 Bags of 25 kg each bag & resistivity should be 0.05 ohm. The job includes digging the pit and refilling the same by furse CEM back Fill Compound (Ground Enhancer), the BFC should be mixed with cement in 3:1 for forming conductive concrete and it should be eco friendly, not contain environmentally hazardous material/metal. The earth pit should be provided with a light weight inspection pit cover PT-205 for protection and safe guard of terminals

In areas where soil condition is bad Good earth is to be arranged to fill the excavated pits by mixing furse CEM- a convenient and permanent solution by adding with 3:1 ratio chemical compound with the earth electrode in the main component of the earthing system which is in direct contact with the ground and thus provides a mean of releasing or collecting earth leakage currents. The material should have good electrical conductivity and anti corrosion property in wide range of soil conditions including takin down/dismantling of existing unserviceable earthing system complete all as specified & directed . (Make : ABB Furse RB 336 and CM040 or equivalent). NOTE :-Each earth pit should contain:- a) 1 No. copper bonded high tensile low carbon steel,17.2 mm dia, 3 meter length. b) Rod to tape clamp (type A). c) 03 Bags of 25 kg each chemical compound as per BSEN 50164-7. d) Light weight inspection pit cover with 5000 kg weight load capacity. e) Supply and installation shall be done by the authorised technician of the manufacturer

Labour only including T & P and consumable for proper measurement of phase current and line voltage including earth continuity test upto DBs/Panel level and each and every light/fan/plug socket of capapcity 5 Amps/15Amps/Geyser point/AC points etc in all MD/OTM accommodations and also balancing the phase current as directed by the Engr-in-Charge and on detection of major voltage difference between neutral and earth wire (if any) then replacement of one run of single core cable 1.5/2.5/4.0/6.0 Sqmm of multistranded FRLS copper conductor cable, PVC insulated, unsheathed, 1100 Volts (ISI marked) as required (for each wire) for earth continuity drawn through surface /ceiling/ concealed or open PVC conduit complete all as directed.

Note: (i) T & P required for testing shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. Measurement shall be carried out by "Fluke multimeter". (ii) Single core multistranded cable of different size shall be measured and paid seperately as "Supply only" (iii) The measurement are required to be taken as and when directed by the Engr-in-Charge during the contract period (iv) The contractor shall provide minimum one electrician and one helper daily during working hours for this purpose during contract period (v) The Unit of measurement shall be in "Each Job (Min 30 points)" and not more than 45 Nos of light/fan/5& 15Amp plug socket/Geyser/AC point.

S & F in repairs single core 1.5 Sqmm size cable (nominal area) PVC insulated unsheathed, multistranded FRLS copper conductor cable, 1100 Volts [ISI marked ] complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs single core 2.5 Sqmm size cable (nominal area) PVC insulated unsheathed, multistranded FRLS copper conductor cable, 1100 Volts [ISI marked ] complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs single core 4.0 Sqmm size cable (nominal area) PVC insulated unsheathed, multistranded FRLS copper conductor cable, 1100 Volts [ISI marked ] complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs single core 6.0 Sqmm size cable (nominal area) PVC insulated unsheathed, multistranded FRLS copper conductor cable, 1100 Volts [ISI marked ] complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour only for Checking and measuring earth pit resistance value by using 3 pole method using Fluke Make meter at earth pits complete all as directed (Note: (i) T & P required for testing shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (ii) The measurement are required to be taken as and when directed by the Engr-in-Charge during the contract period (iii) The contractor shall provide minimum one electrician and one helper daily during working hours for this purpose during contract period (iv) All reading are to be recorded in earth register measurement books which are to be maintained properly duly signed by the Engr-in-Charge)

M & L for backfilling of Crystalline Conductive Compound for chemical earthing system; the COMPACT FILL (CF) mixture filling includes digging the existing pits and refilling the same with Conductolite Back Fill Compound (BFC) (Ground Enhancer), the BFC should be eco friendly, should not contain environmentally hazardous materials/metal having ROHS certification from NABL accrediated Lab, the earth pit shall be provided with FPR earth pit cover of suitable size for protection and safe guard of terminals, existing soil shall be replaced with moisture retaining soil or black cotton soil to be refilled in the excavated earthing chamber of approximate 01 cubic metre to fill the excavated pits by mixing the same with BFC 4 bags of 25 Kg each bag per pit/unit complete all as specified and directed. (Make: ABB FURSE CM040 or equivalent approved by GE)

M & L for cleaning Indoor Main DBs/electrical panel of maximum size 3.0x2.0m and cleaning of corresponding area completely by removing all debris from the cable pits and room, removing cob webs inside the panel and in panel room, vaccuming the DBs/electrical panel with suitable vaccum cleaner and cloth to remove all dust/dirt etc complete all as directed. (Note: Quoted rate deemed to be included of necessary T & P as required at site)

M & L for Repairs to DBs / Panel board Indoor/Outdoor type sheet metal approximate size 0.45x0.45x1.5mtr, parts tinkering the parts and replacing fully corroded sheet metal parts like base plate, top plate, front cover etc with appropriate gauges MS sheet including bending to match with the existing size, welding brazing and assembling including replacing all nuts & bolts in MCBs and proper legging in cable and control wire sheet metal screws metal screws and painting the complete body with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of Zinc chrome primer and Panel Board No in front side complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for lightening arrestor for outdoor use non linear resistive type complete with all fittings suitable for 11000 volts HT line transmission class of discharge capacity 65KA including taking out the un-serviceable lightening arrestors complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for lightening arrestor for outdoor use non linear resistive type, horn gap and choking coil, max working pressure 1100 Volts including taking out the un-serviceable lightening arrestors complete all as specified and as directed
