Material and labour for Annual comprensive maintenance of a filtration plant comprising the following equipments complete all as specified and directed. (a) Raw water Jack well -01 No (b) Low lift pump sets 7.5 HP x3 and control panels -01 set (c) Receiving Chamber -01 No (d) Flash mixer chamber including motor, control panel - 01No (e) Clari flocculator tank complete with motor and control panel -01 No (f) Sand and gravel filter bed - 03 Nos (g) Alum dosing & soda mixing chamber , pump set etc - 01 each (h) Sludge deposit well & pump set - 01 Each (i) Air compressor and connected items - 01 Set (j) Connected pipe line and sluice valves and accessories - 01 set NOTE : (i)Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for the following (ii) Grease and lubricating oil shall be provided by the contractor at his own end and nothing extra shall be payable on this account. (A) Weekly maintenance (i) Contractor shall provide trained technician and a helper, who will visit filtration plant once in a week, to check and repair / servicing of the eqpts above including back washing of sand bed to ensure the serviceability and proper functioning of filteration plant. (ii) Cleaning all filteration plant building inside, plant room,eqpts including sarrounding area minimum for five meter all around of bldgs, chamber, jack well. (B) Monthly maintenance (i) Check and ensure serviciability of all centrifugal pump set connected to the filteration plant and made functional to ensure its proper functioning, and carry out greasing if required.

(ii) Check and ensure serviceability of the Alum dosing chamber ,cleanliness of the chamber and top-up of oil in gear box , greasing in existing motor if required . (iii) Check and ensure proper functioning of clari-flocculator tank , agitator fan with bushes , agitator gear box and motor and its relevant items , top-up of oil and grease if required , checking the control panel for its smooth functioning and its breeze movement . (iv) Check and ensure the functioning of flash mixer , and necessary top-uping of oil and grease in gear box and motor including control panels . (v) Carrying out necessary cleaness of the filter media . NOTE:- (i) Replacement of MCCBs, power contactor shall be measured and paid separately under the relevent items of schedule. (ii) Rewinding of motor and repair of pump set shall be measured and paid separatly if required. (iii) minor parts such as nut & bolt, welding works,cleaning materials, wiring of control panels, fuse / MCB's,star couple, bearing, pump shaft bush, including consumable items like gland packing, greasing etc other than Alum & Soda shall be provided by the contractor at his own end and nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on this account. (iv)Periodical maintenance ie weekly and monthly shall be done in presence of JE (E/M), Also as and when the periodical maintenance will be commenced, contractor shall inform to AGE (E/M) and JE (E/M) one day before, so that necessary check and balance for supervision of work can be exercised by the executives. (v) In case any periodical maintenance is not carried out contractor in this case, he is liable to pay penalty as given below:- (a) For non providing weekly maintenace - Rs. 2000/- per each week (b) For non providing monthly maintenace - Rs 5000/- per each month

(vi) On the perticular month, when the quarterly maintenance is due as stipulated with item No. 2 here in after, no payment for monthly maintenance to be done and only weekly maintenance shall be carried out. Hence this aspect shall be kept in mind while quoting rates by the contractor.

Material and labour for Quarterly maintenance of a filtration plant complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Filteration plant is consisting of the certain (i) Draining of complete water from raw water jack well, cleaning manually by wire brushes , taking out mud , algae and other dust particles, re-cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water and draying, checking of all valves and accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Draining of complete water from the clariflocculator of size 5 mtr dia and 2.5 mtr deep (Approx), cleaning manually by wire brushes , taking out mud , algae and other dust particles, re-cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water , cleaning off all flocculating motor shaft and blades complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Draining of complete water from the raw water receiving chamber and flash mixer chamber,then cleaning manually by wire brushes , taking out mud , algae and other dust particles, re-cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iv) Cleaning the dosing chamber after taking out stainless steel-grill manually with wire brushes ,taking out dirt particles then cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water and refixing the grill complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge . (iv)Cleaning of sludge disposal chamber by removing and spreding sludge 100 mtr away from the site as indicated and directed, cleaning connected under water pipes cleaning submersible pump and foot valve complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

NOTE:-(i) Filteration plant is consisting of the certain equipments/accessories through indicated under item No. 1 here in before, accordingly unit rate of this item includes the maintenance of composite filteration plant. (ii)Replacement of control valves, pipe line, NRV shall be measured and paid separately under the relevent items of schedule. (iii) Rate is inclusive for providing bleaching powder, lime with water for cleaning purpose. (iv) Before under taking the above maintenance, contractor shall arranged the sufficient man power and T&P required for Job well in time. (v) Date of quarterly maintenance shall be got fixed by AGE (E/M), 5 days in advance and entire quarterly maintenance of perticular period of filtration plant shall be completed with in two days to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, in case work is not completed with in two days a penalty sum of Rs. 10,000/- per day basis for delay period shall be charged from the contractor.

M&L for Cleaning of filter beds 60000 ltr per hour by removing of accumulated sand/dust particles and unserviceable filter media from bottom of the filter beds and removing sludge/ wastage to 3 kms away from the station and refilling filter media back in to bed after thorough cleaning, however additional grease required, shall be measuared and paid for separetly as supply only complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Beds shall be cleaned manuall to avoid any damage in the bed/ structure / piping system. (ii) Unit rate of this item includes the cost of removal including loading and un-loading in vehicle of existing filter media/ gravel through suitable transportation. Vehicle shall be provided by the contractor at his own end.Filter media required for replacement if any shall be measured andpaid separatly. (iii) Before under taking the above maintenance, contractor shall arranged the sufficient man power and T&P required for Job well in time.

Taking down flash mixer motor of 2 HP, 3 Phase, 440 V by disconnecting from steel shaft & reduction gear arrangement. repairing the motor by replacing the burnt winding, replacing the vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear box suitable for 2 Hp motor and re-fixing the same after changing suitable bushes, greasing, oiling changing its complete agitator frame , running and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down agitator motor of 2 HP, 3 Phase, 440 V, with reduction gear and shaft, repairing the motor by replacing bearings, gears, replacing the vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear box suitable for 2 Hp motor and re-fixing the same, after oiling, greasing complete, running, testing complete all as specified and directed .

Taking down flocculator motor of 2 HP, 3 Phase, 440 V, with reduction gear and shaft, repairing the motor by replacing bearings, gears, replacing the vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear box suitable for 2 Hp motor fixing the same, after oiling, greasing complete, running, testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down the defective components of flocculation tank (flocculation tank) parts by parts and then repair the same by carrying out the following jobs. (a)Repairing the 2 Hp motor by replacing bearings and gears ,fixing the same, after oiling, greasing complete, running, testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Replacement of breeze wiper and its holder with new one as per existing dimension - Number of set as per existing (c) Replacement of agitator fans new one as per existing make & model. (d) Replacement of agitator gear box vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear with new one suitable for 2 Hp motors, slipering, carbon bushes, bush holder with cables and its connected items.- 1 Nos (e) Replacement of breeze movement gear box vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear with new one suitable for 2 Hp motor - 01 Nos , chain gear,spockets,bearing,housing, sleeves, roller-02 nos,and its connected items. Note:(i) Contractor shall visit the site to ensure the repair of items and its make & model. Make & model shall be as per existing. (ii) All T&P required for repairs shall be supplied by contractor without extra cost. (iii) Unit rate of this item includes the cost of re-assembling/ re-fixing and get functioning of same perfectly to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down the iron grill for alum & soda dissolved , agitator gear box with motor and then repair the same by carrying out the following jobs (a)Supply and fixing Stainless steel wiremesh 2.5 x 2.8 feet size , 4mm gap centre to centre, suitable dia & shape ,fixed to angle iron frame of size 40 x 40 x 4 mm connected through 40 mm bore GI pipe light grade of 12 m length and extended GI 40 mm bore handling pipe duly painted by one coat of synthetic enamel paint of desired and as directed tint over a coat of red oxide, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (b) Repairing the motor by replacing bearings, gears, replacing the vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear box suitable for 1 Hp motor ,fixing the same, after oiling, greasing complete, running, testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Note:(i) Contractor shall visit the site to ensure the repair of items and its make & model. Make & model shall be as per existing. (ii) All T&P required for repair of job shall be supplied by contractor without extra cost. (iii) Unit rate of this item includes the cost of re-assembling/ re-fixing and get functioning of same perfectly to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out carefully submersible pump set (pump and motor) of any capacity and make from the borewell (400 ft-600ft depth) complete with column pipe and other connected parts and lowering the same after repair of the pump set and replacement of nut bolts, gasket suitable size all per requirement complete all as specified and directed. Note- (i) All T&P required for taking down and lowering of pumpset shall be arranged by contractor without extra cost. (ii) Repair to motor and pump / pump set and replacement of parts / spares shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this Schedule. (iii)After replacement of part/rewinding pumpset shall be tested to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and nothing extra shall be admissible on account of extra man power required at site. (iv) Existing pumpset is installed at pump house at Nal village and Jawahar Park (Bikaner), therefore contractor shall visit the site of work before quoting their rates.

Dismantling rotor shaft of electric motor of capacity 15 to 20HP, welding to bearing size of rotor, checknut of rotor & turninig, polishing, threading & grinding etc upto required size of bearing complete all as specified & directed .

M&L Strip opening of 3 phase AC, submersible motor of capacity 15 HP to 20 HP, taking out burnt winding coil completely and re-winding with PVC insulated super enamelled quality water proof winding wire (Make: Chetak / Finolex / Havells) including seal PVC (water proof compound) and jointing new submersible cable 10sqmm 3 core minimum 6m long with water proof tape all as specified and directed and re-assembling the motor and testing compelete complete all as specified and directed

Taking out worn out bearing / bush / sleeves from the motor of capacity 15HP to 20 HP and S&F bearing / stainless steel sleeve and bush, turning and polishing of sleeve complete in all respect all as specified and directed. Note:- Bearing shall be as per existing make and model.

S & F as in repairs thrust plate alongwith disc of motor of capacity 15 HP to 20 HP complete all as specified and directed.

S & F as in repairs oil seal of motor of capacity 15 to 20 HP complete all as specified and directed. Note applicable for item No. 13 to 17 :- Unit rate of these items include the cost of transportation charges for carrying the motor from site to workshop and back. Nothing extra shall be admissible on account of any misunderstanding.

Dismantling the submersible pumping set bowl assembly any type or make 15 HP to 20 HP capacity for carrying out repair and replacement of worn out parts by strip opening and disconnecting all parts such as bowl casing, impellers, pump shafts, lock collects, bushes, neck rings etc and carrying out machine work such as welding, turning, re-facing where required and replacing of parts of pump of stages of size 80 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Spares parts and their fixing shall be paid separately under the respective items of this schedule.

S&F as in repairs pump shaft stainless steel suitable for submersible pump set 12 to 15 stages including threading cutting to size all as specified and directed.

S&F as in repairs gun metal impeller suitable size for bowl assembly of submersible pumping set as per site requirement for suction discharge and intermediate bowls complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- 3 run shall be considered as one length for payment purpose

Testing water samples from diffarent three sources (inlet of Raw water, out let of filtration plant and supplied treated water) through NABL accredited authorized LAB as per Indian standard drinking water specifications (BIS-10500:1991) including collecting water in sealed glass bottle all as directed by Engr -in-charge. Testing shall be carried out for all 17 parametersas described in BIS 10500-1991 from lab and submit repot. Note: Sample of raw water & post treatment water to be collected by contractor in presence of Enge - in- charge monthly and submit result.

Repair and servicing of air compressor, motor and blower capacity 525 Cu mtr/hour of any make by carrying out servicing, greasing and replacement of compressor oil, lubricant,"V" belt for blower, relay and pressure gauge and other maintenance specified in mannual complete all as specified and directed.
