Battery for TRD- Lead Acid 110 V, 40 AH - LM (Dry & Uncharged condition) with all accessories as per RDSO Specification No. RDSO /PE/SPEC/TL/0040- (Rev-2) 2021 or latest.

Full/bulk quantity order shall be placed on bidders with satisfactory past performance of same/similar item.

Scope of similar item : Any type of Battery for TRD- Lead Acid 110 V, used in Rolling stock over Indian Railway.

Bids of Original manufacturers (OEM) or their authorized dealers/agents only shall be considered for ordering. Dealers/agents should submit valid tender specific authorization from OEM alongwith bid.

In keeping with the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017 as amended, it has been found that there is sufficient local capacity and competition in supply of the tendered item of required quality and therefore public procurement of the item is restricted to Class-I local suppliers only and the vendors who do not qualify to be Class-I local supplies should not quote in the tender as their offers shall not be considered for any ordering. In case any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class-I local supplier for the tendered item participates in the tender, it does so at their own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the vendor. The minimum local content for the local supplier of the above item, to be categorized as Class-I local suppliers shall be 50%.

Purchase preference to MSEs : To avail benefits and preferential treatment extended to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), bidders are required to enclose Udyam Registration Certificate only. Traders/dealers are not eligible for such benefits. Para 3.0 of Integrated Bid Document of ECR (IBD v3.0) may be referred to for details.

Price Variation clause:Price variation Clause:- The bidder should quote the basic price of battery based on M/s HZL's ex-chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter price of Rs 2,14,800/- per MT (exclusive of all statutory duties & taxes and also without referring to any discounts offered by M/s HZL's circular) prevailing as on dt. 02.04.2026 for lead purity 99.99%. The Basic price will vary for every increase/decrease of Rs.100/MT (exclusive of all statutory duties & taxes and without referring to any discounts) and part thereof, the price of the battery quoted will be subject to a corresponding increase/decrease of Rs 18.70 per battery set (exclusive of all statutory duties & taxes) in the event of variation in lead price as declared by M/s HZL . The price of the lead prevailing one month prior to the date of offering the material for inspections will be considered for computing PVC and incase of consignee inspection, HZL prices prevailing 30 days prior to the date of billing will be considered for computing the PVC. Further for the purpose of aforesaid PVC, the basic price of lead ex- Chanderiya smelter shall be taken into account without referring to any discounts at any stage mentioned in the HZL circular. Note:-The offer of the firm quoting fixed price OR different PVC formula as mentioned above will be summarily rejected. Clause 21.0 of IBD(V-3.0) of ECR attached herewith may be referred for details.

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

Security Deposit : SD shall be applicable as per para 6.0 of Integrated Bid Document (IBD v3.0) of ECR.

Packing Instruction : Packing as per standard packing or as specified in the specification of the Item. It should be ensured that item should not rub during transportation: The item should be packed with adequate strength. Transit damage if any shall be at the cost of supplier.

Marking Clause : The manufacturer will indicate their Name, Month & Year of manufacturing by casting/stamping/ etching / embossing, at an appropriate place of each piece supplied, without affecting the functional utility and structural stability of the components/material or as per drawing /specification.
