Truncating the existing UHF 100 M Micro wave Tower to a height of 48m at Block 16, Neyveli Town ship, Neyveli.

Amount

Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material

a. Beyond 30 cm girth upto and including 60 cm girth

Cutting the trunks and branches of Other Trees with necessary tools and plants which are protruded into the Tower area including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. ( The Agency has to inspect the site before quoting the rates )

Dismantling of tower of upto 52.00 m height from the top including climbing ladders, cable racks, Lightening Arrestor, platforms with railings, bolts, nuts and washers including sorting the materials, numbering with marker or paint, stacking within a lead of 50m under the safe custody of the agency etc complete all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The mode of Measurement shall be taken as the gross weight ( i.e Total weight of the goods carried but excluding the tare weight of the transport unit ) as per the Original Receipt Generated in the presence of Engineer in charge.

Transportation of tower materials from tower site to the BSNL store at Neyveli including sorting out of materials & Preparation of materials check list by the Technical person of the Agency, loading and unloading including handling charge etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(Within a total lead of 15 KM for To and Fro Weighing Bridge)

Supplying at site the M. S tower materials consisting of angles, flats, pipes, bars bolts and nuts washers , Gusset plates, etc., including labour charges for cutting drilling holes, welding as required and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. a) Angles, flats, bars, plates, bolts & nuts washers, gusset plates, base plate and stiffening plates etc. (b) Sections are to be painted with one coat of zinc chromate primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of matching shade as per the direction of Engineer in charge

Erection of tower including necessary sorting out of materials at site as per check list and tightening of bolts and nuts, washers etc. as per the requirement of Indian standard codes, torque checking etc. complete as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. ( The rate includes necessary insurance charges for labour and the agency is responsible for all precautionary measures to be maintained at site for safety of men working)

Tightening of bolts and nuts of various diameters for 48 metres height ground based Truncated tower including torque checking as per the indian standaral codes all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. a) 48 metres tower (Tower weighing 44700.00 Kg approx.)

Credit to corroded steel sections/other steel recovered from tower structures., including carriage for disposal all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (Recovery to be made on the basis of weight of steel)
