M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.3 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 15 mm bore (light grade) connected to main switch board or any other electrical equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil/stata, 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced with 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 15 cm c/c both way for cover and MS frame etc., complete all as specified and indicated including testing on completion NOTE: 1.The unit rate includes earth strip/GI lead wire and protection pipe upto (maximum 7.5 metre) from earth plate to earth point/test point. 2. unit rate includes the rate of excavation and earth work.

All as item No 1 above but using galvanised iron strip 32×6 mm as earthing lead & protection pipe light grade 40mm dia.

All as item No 1 above but using copper plate 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrode and 25×4 mm copper strip as earthing lead & protection pipe light grade 40mm dia..

M&L for Fast Electrode maintenance free Chemical Earthing of Dual Pipe Technology of 3 Mtr long electrode with Outer pipe Diameter of 88 mm & inner pipe diameter 48 mm, Outer Surface of pipe shall be properly copper coated up to 250 Micron and Wall thickness of inner pipe 2.6 mm and 1.8 mm of outer pipe. The terminal for connection of 75 X 5.2 mm with two holes of 14 mm diameter. Fast Electrode is dully filled with the highly conductive material with sealing at both ends with lead terminal of 75 X 5.2 mm at top. The 88 mm Dia 3 Mtr Length Electrode should have type test report from CPRI. Type test report for Short time current of 42 kA rms for 1 Sec with initial peak of 88.2 kA. The Electrode should be tested in MSME Govt of India. The Electrode should be tested for Salt Spray Test as per BIS 117-09 for Corrosion for minimum 500hrs. Along with 2 bags of 25kgs each of Earth Enhancing Compound. The chemical compound should be tested and certified by any NABL accredited and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) accredited laboratory. The testing laboratory should be ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified. The earth enhancing compound should be tested referring to protocol IS 1350 & IEC62321/111/54/CDV. The pH value of compound should be between 7 to 8. The content of mercury (Hg) & Hex chromium should be below detection level. Make- FAST ELECTRODE or equivalent meke as approved by GE.(rate of GI strip of size 32x6mm upto 7.5 mtr length, GI protection pipe 40mm light grade & earth work deemed to be included in to rate quoted)

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire.

Supply and fix aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws, insulators rawal plugs etc for conductor for roof and fixed on wall upto test point all as specified.

Supply and fix galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm fixed with saddles & fixing screws, PVC dash fastners, insulators fixed from test point to earth on walls or burried in ground / drawn into hume pipe.

S&F tubing 'light grade' galvanised iron with all fittings and fixed to poles, walls etc. with flat iron clamps/bolts/nuts/washers or laid in floors/under roads complete all as specified and directed of 40 mm bore

Supply and fix single pointed air termination Aluminium rod 12mm dia, 300 mm long

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronge 75 x 75 x 25mm of 6mm thickness drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head brass screws including box of size 90 x 90 x 90mm made of 1.6mm plain sheet and screwed to wall for protection of test point completed all as specified.

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from clamp/ saddles plates air termination rods with GI supporting pipe for re use at site or carrying the MES store complete all as spesified and directed by Engr- in -Charge

Refixing Air termination rod with G I supporting pipe retrieved against item No-13 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Taking down carefully by unscrewing from clamp /back plates strips any type of aluminium/ GI for reuse at site or refixing at same or other locations complete all as spesified and directed by Engr- in -Charge

Refixing Gi/ aluminium strips retrieved against item no-15 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Note: Amount of sch of credit of Rs.64510/-will be deducted from total amount of BOQ.
