Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as SC reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

As per karnataka state government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01-01-2007 and Govt letter No.PW/134/BMS /2007/dated 27-07-2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

All the documents to be uploaded shall be neatly scanned and the documents scanned shall be in original.

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the tender shall liable to rejected.

Earnest Money Deposit will have to be in any one of the forms as per the instructions in the financial bid document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the tender.

Tenderers are requested to read the Bid Documents before submission of their bid.

Department will not supply any materials, and the cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing KP Procurement Portal.

The Employer reserves the rights reject one or all tender without assigning any reasons.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD Division Chikodi during office hours on all working days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened next working day will holds good in lieu of the dates mentioned

The Tenderer are should be present during opening of the tender and also submit the uploaded documents duly attested by the Gazetted Officer not below the Rank of Executive Engineer.

Contractors should Registered in KPWD and copy should be uploaded in E-portal Attested by the Gazzeted officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer.

The item rates are excluding GST but inclusive of all other charges.

GST shall be paid to the tendered amount separately.(As per prevailing rates GST will be Paid Separately)

The Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delays as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes (excluding GST) as per prevailing Government Orders.

Financial turover of previous years shall be given a weight of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2026-27 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section.

If no bid received auto extension will be done by KPPP Portal itself for 2 days

Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) form practicing Chartered Account is preferred

The Bidder, at his own cost, responsibility and risk, is encouraged to visit, examine and familiarize himself with the Site of Works and its surroundings including source of earth, water, road aggregates, availability of labor etc. and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the Bid and entering into a contract for undertaking the maintenance Works. The costs of visiting the site shall be at the Bidders own expense. The following certificate/Affidavit shall be undertaken by contractor during the submission of tenders. I have inspected the building and I am ready to maintain the building

If the contractor has not done the maintenance work satisfactorily in previous years such bids will be rejected

The Contractor shall maintain the building Assets in proper condition that comply with the building Maintenance Standards and ensure building users safety and comfort. The maintenance activitiesshall be so planned that the defects are repaired well before they reach maximum condition asper the permissible tolerance.

The Contractor should maintain the building in good condition

As per Government Circular No. FD/263/EXP-12/2022,Dated 11/05/2022 L1 tenderer EMD amount is forfeited and tender will be rejected

This bid documents clause no 34.4 to be implemented as per deligation of power vide GO NO PWD 423 FC-1 2018 Bangalore dated 24.09.2018

Any Deviation/error/Mistake found in units of items, they should be read as in the unified SR 2023-24 and rates shall be quoted accordingly

For SC contractors reservation category participate in the tender, the contractors should upload the domicile certificate stayed in KARNATAKA for minimum of 10 years issued by a competent authority / Tahsildar.

This Tender is invited for the Tenderers belonging to SC category only & to claim this reservation SC category certificate issued by the competent authority should be uploaded & should be submitted in original before tender opening.

If the Contractor is a firm, then all the partners or members of the firm shall belong to the SC as the case may be

The Tenderer shall achieved in at least one financial years an average annual financial turnover from financial year 2021-22 to 2025-26 of Rs. 4.83 Lakhs. (not less than the estimated cost under this contract)
