PAINTING TO RUNWAY, DISPERSAL AND TAXI TRACK, REPAIRS TO DGTM BOARDS, GRASS/BUSH CUTTING, CLEANING AROUND RUNWAY, MISC REPAIRS TO AREA DRAINAGE AND TAXI TRACK, DESILTING NEAR AND AROUND RUNWAY AT NAS SHIBPUR

Periodical cutting of grass/bush/small plants including sweeping of grass/bushes, small plants/vegetations of any type along the sides of dispersal/taxi track, runway shoulders in air field area and removing the materials/ debris to distance exceeding 500 m and not exceeding 1000m and depositing outside MoD land all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE - The unit rates quoted by the tenderer shall include :- (i) Cutting of grass by manually and or mechanically as required at site. (ii) Operating cost of T & P including operator. (iii) The area of cutting, will be decided by the Engineer-in-Charge in consultation with user representatives as on required basis every day. (iv) Periodicity of grass cutting, will be as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in consultation with users. For this purpose the tenderer shall maintain a register indicating the details of location, date, area, signature of Engineer-in-Charge, user's representative and Contractor's signature. (v) The grass shall be cut so that the protruding grass shall not be more than 10mm above ground level and disposal as directed. (vi) Minimum of 10 labourers will be provided daily including minimum 05 handy grass cutting machines for execution of above work.

Desilting of storm water drain including dewatering and removing soil/mud and other materials to out side the MoD land as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The quantity shall be measured actual quantity which are removed from drain. (ii) A register shall be maintained for this purpose and the quantity removed from drain and disposal off shall be maintained by Eingineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry/PCC block masonry,built in cement mortar or cement lime morter including all quoins, arches, pillars,etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified

Demolition of Cement Concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry with solid block, exc 10cm in width, in plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

Material and labour for broken stone or boulders hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for Cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 100 mm thick Cement Concrete 1:2:4, Type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor, finished surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less incuding necessary form works complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, by brooming complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Forming 12 mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’ 200 mm thick concrete slab complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound Grade B complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing old treated black top surfaces/concrete surfaces of runway and painting to lines, dashes, arrows, letters, boxes etc exceeding 10cm width with one coat of road marking water soluble paint, white complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing old treated Retro Reflective surfaces/concrete surfaces of Taxi track/Runway and applying a coat of Retro Reflective water borne acrylic air field marking paint yellow colour and black colour border over dispersal/ taxi track including glass beads as per manufacturer's specification complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing old decorated surfaces applying one coat of premium quality, acrylic based, exterior emulsion, antifungal paint, matt finish in check pattern (red/white/yellow) on concrete surfaces of any description over 10 cm girth or width on walls/floors, not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE FOR ITEM SER NO 14.0 TO 16.0 (i) During the week days the site will be available for 4 to 6 hours due to aircraft movements such as landing/take off. During the week end days the site will be available for 8 hours. The contractor shall consider the above points while quoting the rate and no extra payment shall be claim by the contractor on account of this aspect. (ii) The work shall be carried out as per user's requirement and time fixed by them. No delay will be accepted beyond the time frame which will be intimated to contractor seperately.

Supply and fixing in repairs DGTM boards black acrylic sheet 4 to 5 mm with 100mm dia air pressure clearance circle 06 Nos, on each board, fixing the board to 03 Nos 63 mm dia PVC pipe heavy duty (class - 5, IS : 4985)10 Kgf/cm2 as vertical post of approximate height 1.28 m each covered as top with PVC cap on each pipe and inter connecting the vertical pipes at the top, middle and bottom with 25 mm dia PVC pipes 10 Kgf/cm2 (class - 5, IS : 4985) fixed with PVC bushes and screws, inserting the frame in GI/MS pipe embedded in PCC 1:2:4 blocks display board complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix flurocent self adhesive radium reflective tape, deep orange colour, cut to shape as in letters, size of letter over 10 cm width or grith all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

Material and labour for 40mm thick Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base to floor all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for screed bed or bedding layer of motar 15mm thick in CM 1:6 for laying floor finishes all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (Square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 Sqm but not exceeding 0.11 Sqm, in floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
