Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of 2 x120 kVA and 2 x 100 kVA Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems in N plus 1 Parallel Redundant Mode Including the Battery Banks at Main Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Bengaluru

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of set of 2 nos. of true on-line UPS, each of 120kVA capacity, connected in N+1 parallel redundant mode, with capability to connect more UPS units of same capacity in parallel, including circuit breakers, inbuilt isolation transformers made of copper winding with CRGO laminations, interconnecting cables, copper earth conductors etc., as per data sheet, detailed specifications, schedule of work and scope of work given in Part-I.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of battery bank for each 120kVA UPS unit, providing 30 minutes backup for 120kVA load at 0.90-1.00 power factor, including battery circuit breaker, battery rack, interconnecting cables from battery to battery and from UPS to battery bank and all other materials as required for initial charging, as per data sheet, detailed specifications, schedule of work and scope of work given in Part-I. The firm shall submit the battery sizing calculation details along with Part-I of the tender document for technical scrutiny of the tender. Warranty for the batteries shall be 3 years from the date of virtual completion of the work.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of battery bank (FR casing) for each 100 kVA UPS unit, providing 30 minutes backup for 100 kva load at 0.90-1.00 power factor, including battery circuit breaker, battery rack, interconnecting cables from battery to battery and from UPS to battery bank and all other materials as required for initial charging etc., as per data sheet, detailed specifications, schedule of work and scope of work given in Part-I. The firm shall submit the battery sizing calculation details along with Part-I of the tender document for technical scrutiny of the tender. Warranty for the batteries shall be 3 years from the date of virtual completion of the work.

Rebate for dismantling, buy back and taking away all equipment of existing old UPS systems (3 nos. 100 kVA & 2 nos. 60 KVA) and connected battery banks (114 nos. x 12V 150 AH & 80 nos. x 12V 120 AH batteries) etc, as per instructions, standard, terms and conditions specified in Part-I. The rate shall be inclusive of GST.

Cost per annum for Comprehensive annual maintenance contract including spares with preventive maintenance of monthly interval for the newly installed 2 x120 kVA UPS system after the guarantee period (DLP – 1 year for UPS & 3 years for Batteries), as per terms and conditions specified in Part-I. The cost of replacement of Batteries after the Warranty will be borne by the Bank. All other items installed as part of the work are included in the CAMC.
