REPAIR, RESURFACING OF ROADS, REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE AND ALLIED WORKS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS OF MIC AND S UNDER GE (S) AHILYANAGAR

M&L for Repairs to pot holes any depth n.exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting round edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen VG-10, putting in premix as specifed for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick), well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed (including supply of pre mix binder and sand), depth of pot holes not exc 30mm and complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid using mechanical paver for any width of road, rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thicknes 75mm or less) with binder content ( paving bitumen of VG-30 grade bitumen) of min 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally cleaning the surfaces with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate application of 2.50 Kg /10 Sqm on bituminious surface as specified in table 500-5 of MORTH Specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness laid using mechanical paver for any width of road with min 5.00% binder content paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.0 mm thick single coat as a centre line or edge line etc, road marking n.exc 100 mm width using thermo plastic paint (Hot application) white/yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter fillers etc, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be confirming to BS-6086 of most specification including spraying of glass beads etc complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and complete as all specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of size 100mm x 100mm x 18mm with PAMA striplens relector fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions. Make : DA 978 of Darkeye or techno commercial equivalent model of makes specified.

Supply and fixing in repairs post delineator made up of MS tubular pipe of diameter 63 mm, height of 900 mm, duly powder coated and fixed with 03 Nos Reflective tape of 25 mm wide strips in green, red and yellow colour, along with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye alumnium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to IS) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystaline solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 1,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufacturers instructions etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F for road side convex mirror for road safety with installation kit & adjustable fixing bracket (nuts & Bolts), ISO Certified 9001:2015, of size 800mm dia, made up of polycabronate, mounted on MS pipe of 2.1m long and dia of pipe is 80mm including RFR, removal and two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer in MS pipe including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil for fixing and embedding the MS pipe on ground with hold fasting using PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded aggregates (block size 0.3m x 0.3 m x 0.45m below GL) and proper grounting, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro eflective Cautionary/warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each side of 900 mm with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours). Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
