Schedule 'A' Part-I General Note as applicable for serial item No 2.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A' Part-I Contractors attention is hereby invited that estimated cost of serial item No. 2.00 is Rs. 8,84,400.00 based on prevailing rates of Schedule of Minimum fair wages. Quoted amount against serial item No. 2.00 is less than the amount the work (Estimated of serial item No. 2.00 of BoQ/Sch 'A' Part-I) then lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days from financial bid opened difference in Estimated cost & quoted amount of serial item No. 2.00, in case lowest bidder said FDR is not submitted within stipulated period as mentioned above. The contractor shall be banned for 06 month & thier bid will be rejected and financial bid will not be opened for next 06 months. FDR submitted by the contractor within 07 days from financial bid opened and the same will be realesed only after satisfactory proof of payment of deployed person under the respective serial item No. 2.00 of Sch 'A' Part-I.

Outsourcing of services for operation, manning and periodical maintenance of AC Plant installed 3x300 TR capacity (02 working and 01 stand by) at 15 Air Force Hospital premises including Pump House, RO Plant, Fire Hydrant System and all related equipment as mentioned below including keeping the installation operational in healthy condition round the clock and daily cleaning of all the equipment related to AC Plant (in three shifts each shift for 08 hours) including Sunday and Holidays with carrying out all daily maintenance complete all as directed by Eng-in-charge and as per indian electricity rules/Engineering Practices & maintain properly the protective instruments complete in good condition and all maintenance records, break down records, by providing with adequate staff strength comprising of the following electrical machineries & equipmnts and all as specified in particular specifications to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) Three AC plant, Pump House, RO Plant and Fire Hydrant System considered in serial item No. 2.00 shall be operated by one operator in one shift, hence three operator for three shifts. (ii) The timing of operation in shifts shall be decided by the department and same shall be followed by the contractor.

Notes for Serial item No. 2.00 :- (iii) During maintenance & operation of AC Plants, if loss of refrigerant and compressor oil take place due to negligence / mishandling of plant, by the contractor’s operators, the same shall be made good by the contractor and cost for the same shall deemed to include in unit rate quoted by the contractor against respective items of Sch ‘A’. (iv) In the event of failure to achieve specified inside condition for any shift or part thereof due to non operation or by other reasons (Except failure of incoming electric / water supply at A/C installations) contractor shall be penalized at double the rates, what quoted for against above respective items of Sch ‘A’ Part-I. (Quoted rate for one shift against any of item above shall be arrived by quoted rates for one month divided by number of shift in a month). (v) Unit rates quoted by the contractor shall deemed to included for three shifts and in case of decrease in shifts, the adjustment of rates shall be done proportionately. Contractor shall provide proper manning to give rest to the deployed person for Sunday/holiday. For this purpose contractor shall provide one extra manpower on every Six FGM. (vi) Daily attendance shall be marked in attendance register by the JE Concerned attendance shall be checked weekly at least by the EIC and monthly by the GE. (vii) Dos" and Don'ts" standing orders of operating machines maintenance programme shall be displayed in each installation (viii) Log book, log sheet shall be filled shift wise. (ix) Operator shall be in proper uniform As approved by the GE and cost of uniform included in the rate quoted. (x) Surrounding area shall be kept clean and tidy. Tool required for cleaning is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Notes for Serial item No, 2.00 (Contd) :- (xi) Unit rates quoted by the tenders shall deem to include for Nuts, bolts, Washers, Lugs, Thimbles, wires, terminal clamps, distilled water required for efficient and smooth functioning of the equipment with out any extra cost to the Govt. (xii) Absent from duty of technician is not permissible as E&M services essential in nature. However, found penalty will be levied double the rate per men per shift and recovery from bill shall be done through recovery statement. (xiii) Tenderer shall arrange insurance to his work-men and relevant proofs of the same shall be submitted to the department as and when demanded, the cost for the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. Responsibility of compliance of labour regulations in force lies with the tenderer. The provision of statutory laws relating to minimum wages, EPF, ESI payments shall be strictly adhered to by the contractor. The Contractor shall produce proof of payment of wages, EPF and ESI against the respective workmen while claiming payments, The contractor shall employee deployee ITI holder with 03 years experience and recognized govt institute and produce the documents. (xiv) Pump House, RO Plant, Fire Hydrant System and AC operator should be ITI qualified or having minimum five years of experience by a recognized govt institute and produce the documents.
