REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR PROVISON OF 50 MTR SWIMMING POOL AT INS HAMLA

Amount

a) Boring holes of 100 mm dia at different locations shown in drg by rotary drilling for Soil investigation in any type of soil/SDR/hard rock/concrete floors and sub bases refusal including boulders/weathered rock in depth upto 20 mtr or as directed by Garrission Engineer along with SPT at every 1.50M and other tests required for designing the foundation for Swimming pool, Pump house bldg,MES sub station bldg etc. b) Test report should include all the tests as required for designing the foundation such as SPT values, bore logs, soil classification and also should cover the general recommendations for the type of foundation systems,safe bearing capacity ,permissible settlement etc. The report shall be submitted in quintuplicate duly bounded in a presentable manner. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to included the cost of submission of such reports and samples of soil. c) No water and electric will be supplied by the department. d) The report should contain following tests as applicable to the soil on ground. i) Bore hole chart ii) Profile of sub starta for all boreholes. iii) Bearing capacity calculation indicaing SBC of soil with the type/size of foundation and depth for swimming pool and building of single storey configuration. iv) Consolidated test on undisturbed smaple. v) Chemicals analysis of ground water. vi) Crushing strength of hard rock Samles recovered. vii) Existing water table (if met ) viii) Photographic record during the progress. ix) Uncosolidated triaxial shear test.
