JOB : procurement and installation of new air duct cooling system in 27 x OR lines to include following
COOLER
Body. Galvanized Iron body 42” x 42” x 60” or large
Cooling Pads. Honey comb pads 6” or larger
Cooling fan. 24” diameter of fan
Fan motor 1/1.5 or larger Horse Power
Pump. Submersible water Pump 200 watts or larger
Cooler Stand. (i) material : painted wrought iron (ii) Cooler stand to be grouted using adequate number of bolts to with stand wind speed of 7.5 miles/hour. (iii) Cooler to be welded on cooler stand (iv) Separate switch for fan & water pump so that it can be operated form OR line Cooler Stand Size. (i) dimensions as per befitting cooler
Duct Dimensions To be of dimensions equal to or more than vent size (mentioned below) to facilitate unhindered air flow Vent dimensions 26’ x 10’ (To be ascertained during survey) Material. Galvanized Iron sheets. Ducting. As per requirement from roof top till OR line (to be ascertained during survey). 1300 running ft in buildings (480 sqft per barrack/OR line). Gauge. 22/24 Gauge GI Ducting sheet. Components. Duct Stack Head 900 stack elbow Universal Clamping bolt and other items for installation of duct system Grill. Aluminium powder coated air supply grills Galvanized Iron stands and canvas connectors Air Proof insulation. Rubber 9 mm (Nitro Rubber)
Electric & Maintenance works Circuit breaker box for each cooling unit. Electric connection meeting requirements of the cooler to include electric sockets (32 Ampere) male/female. Wire. 2.5 sq mm copper wire to be used for electrification with fire proof insulation (ISI mark). Switch. On/off switch of Crompton/anchor or other equivalent with ISI mark
Plumbing work Pipe. GI pipe 1/2 Inch diameter or larger Connectors. From existing water tank on roof till coolers. (to be ascertained during survey) Stopper. To stop flow of water
