Supply, installation and commissioning and testing of 11 kV Automatic Voltage Regulator for automatic operation, three phase, naturally oil cooled, all winding being of copper, indoor type & designed for input variation between 8000 V to 12000 V with output voltage stabilized at 11000 V with accuracy ± 1% of capacity of 1 MVA. The stablizer shall have suitable for inbuilt bypass arrangements at the time of failure and terminal box for input and output for 11 KV HT XLPE cables with glands. It shall be fabricated with Suitable thickness of M.S sheet & epoxy painted.The stabiliser shall have roller type and atleast 24 months (from the date of completion) of warranty. All as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- The AVR should be suitable for working in (-15 to +50 Degree Celcius) and 1600 metre above MSL. 'The following accessories and fitting shall be provided with the Automatic Voltage regulator:- (i) Lifting Lugs:- The arrangement to lift the active part of the regulator along with the cover of the tank without disconnecting the connections. (ii) Swivel Type Rollers:- The equipment to be provided with 4 nos. rollers fitted on cross channels to facilitate the movement of the equipment. (iii) Earthing Terminals:- Two separate earthing terminals are to be provided at the sides of the tank on both side earthing for earthing.
(iv) Diagram and rating plate – One diagram and rating plate indicating the details of the regulator, connection diagram etc. (v) Buck holz relay, oil & winding temperature meter with alarm and trip contacts. (vi) First filling of oil. (vii) Winding - The regulator shall be copper wound with minimum class ‘A’ insulation.The magnetic core shall be made of cold rolled grain oriented low loss steel stampings. (viii) All Spare parts shall be included with the cost. (ix) Filter valve top and bottom , Oil filling hole Thermometer pocket, Air release device, Axles and wheels unidirectional shall also be provided. (x) Control and Monitoring Features : The control and monitor system of these voltage regulator should have the following standard features (a).‘Alarm’ lamps which light up when the input voltage exceeds the limits of the specified range. (b). Voltmeter for output voltage. (c). A switch to change from ‘Automatic’ voltage correcting action to ‘Manual’ – This may be necessary in the event something goes wrong with ‘Automatic’ control. (d). A switch to ‘Raise’ & ‘Lower’ to increase or decrease the output voltage in ‘Manual’ position.

Applicable Standards: (a) The design, manufacture and performance of the Ring Main Units/VCB Panel shall comply with all currently applicable statutes, regulations and safety codes.Nothing in this specification shall be construed to relieve the bidder off his responsibilities. (b) Unless otherwise specified, the Ring Main Units/VCB Panel offered shall conform to the latest applicable, IEC 62271-100, IEC 62271-200. (c) All live parts, bus bars, shall preferably be enclosed in one tank to avoid multiple inter connections & sealed for life robotically welded non magnetic and non ferrite grade stainless steel tank Grade SS304 of minimum 2.5 mm thickness. The RMU/VCB Panel shall be type tested for internal arc test of 21KA/1 sec AFLR as per IEC62271-200. The outer enclosure shall cover the full length of the switch gear, to ensure IP54 protection for full door covering of complete switchgear. (d) RMU and Vaccum Interruptor shall be of same make. All the mechanical bushings should be replacable at site, to avoid dismantling RMU/VCB Panel from site and carrying to OEM factory for rectification for the minor gas leakages from mechanical bushing, this is operational & maintenane point, cannot be deviated. No additional plate/ accessories to be add to achieve Internal Arc of the Cable of 21kA-1sec, in the able box camber. RMUs should be manufactured, inspected and invoiced from the OEM factory only; no licensee partner manufactered RMU is exceptable

The panel shall be cubical type with Sloppy roof, openable in front & rear and having inner & outer shells, Aluminium bus bar of capacity 1000 Amp for three phases and 500 Amp for neutral, Common earth bus bar of GI Strip 32 x 6 mm at bottom with panel board at two earth terminals. The inner shell dully compartmented for each control gear, including powder coating synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer internally and externally the entire steel surfaces. The outer enclosure shall cover the full length of the switch gear, to ensure IP54 protection for full door covering of complete switchgear. d) All the mechanical bushings should be replacable at site, to avoid dismantling RMU from site and carrying to OEM factory for rectification for the minor gas leakages from mechanical bushing, this is operational & maintenane point, cannot be deviated. No additional plate/ accessories to be add to achieve Internal Arc of the Cable of 21kA-1sec, in the able box camber. RMUs should be manufactured, inspected and invoiced from the OEM factory only; no licensee partner manufactered RMU is exceptable.
SERVICE CONDITIONS (a) The SF6 gas filled 11 kV, 630 Amps, LHS extensible type to connect with RMU, Outdoor. RMU to be supplied against this specification shall be suitable for satisfactory operation under the following tropical conditions, design ambient temperature (Degree C) 40 as per IEC. The unit shall include the following with all necessary standard fitting as required at site: a) Load Break Switch 12kV 630Amps 21kA-3sec with copper bus Bar and earth switch fitted with fixed type voltage indicator device as per IEC -2 Nos. b) Fault Passage Indicator (FPI) - 1No. c) Mechnical lock (One-key One Lock) (Make: Patlon/ Rohnis) to avoid mal operation of LBS. Note: Standard mano meter -01 for each tank, Operating handle - 01, cable clamping provision (standard)-01/for every cable entry suitable for 1RX3C cable upto 300Sqmm, Operation and maintenance manual - 01, RMU Foundation (Earth Work and PCC works) for placing RMU on plinth is deemed to be included in the cost quoted. Height of plinth should not be less than 0.5 mtrs from ground level.
Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth plate not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including Galvanized Iron strip 32x6mm thick as earthing lead by means of steel bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers test points made of GI Strip 32x6mm, 10 cm long, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 in pit, angle iron 25x25x3mm frame work with precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm c/c both ways and 12mm dia MS fabricated handle, medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm bore with funnel, wire mess and light grade GI protection pipe 40mm bore upto 5m length for drawing in earth lead, salt, charcoal, etc including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and connecte complete all as directed by GE including testing on completion. Note : The quoted rate of earthing shall be deemed to include cost of Galvanized Iron strip upto 7.5 meter and protection pipe and watering pipe. Any variation in length of earth wire shall be adjusted through deviation order.
Supply & erection of 4 pole structure comprising of 11 metre steel tubular pole with anti-climbing device, PCC foundation & cross arms etc for one incoming and two out going along with 03 x sets of GODs & DO fuses complete all as specified and directed.
Supply & Fixing Aluminium conductor steel reinforced of size as directed, drawn on steel or concrete poles including binding with copper binding wire or aluminium tapes for extension from existing structure complete all as specified and directed
Material and labour for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under-coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix moulded (FRP) junction box size 300mmx200mmx105 mm with IP 65 protection 32 Amp 4 way heavy duty terminal block with 6 Amp MCB SP, two number of cable entry glands of standard size fixed to pole with suitablesize MS clamp complete all as directed and directed.
Material and labour for sub main wiring with 3 core PVC insulated stranded copper conductor 1.5 sq mm served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape , 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable drawn through and including rigid non metallic PVC conduit not less than 20mm dia with all accessories medium grade ISI marked complete all as specified and directed. Note : One run of 3 core 1.5 sqmm size cable with PVC conduit shall be considered as one unit.
Supply and laying / fixing for GI tubing light grade of 50mm bore including all necessary fittings such as elbow, bends, clamps including nut and bolts for cable protection along poles, wall surface, under ground or road crossing etc complete all as specified and directed .
Supply and laying / fixing for GI tubing light grade of 80mm bore including all necessary fittings such as elbow, bends, clamps including nut and bolts for cable protection along poles, wall surface, under ground or road crossing etc complete all as specified and directed .
Supply and laying / fixing for GI tubing light grade of 100mm bore including all necessary fittings such as elbow, bends, clamps including nut and bolts for cable protection along poles, wall surface, under ground or road crossing etc complete all as specified and directed .
Supply and laying / fixing for GI tubing light grade of 150mm bore including all necessary fittings such as elbow, bends, clamps including nut and bolts for cable protection along poles, wall surface, under ground or road crossing etc complete all as specified and directed .
Cutting of road / PCC hard standing for laying of pipe/ cable including making good the existing surface with PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate / bituminous carpet to match the original finish complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply and fixing, cable route marker for HT/LT cable duly engraved (HT 11 KV cable) on 150mm dia MS round plate 6 mm thick, duly painted with brown colour paint, and fixed on MS angle of size 40mmx40mmx5mm with nuts and bolts and embedded in PCC (1:2:4) concrete block of size 230mmx230mmx230mm, including necessary excavation & earth work complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor shall submit the layout drawing of cable route to the Deptt.
Material and labour for Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete including necessary steel form work and finishing the surface fair in forms for poles etc, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for boring of holes under roads, pavements, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique & necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 6 kg/sqmm of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 Mpa working pressure complete all as specified and directed. Note - The rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of provn of HDPE pipe.
M&L for Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead, 25 x 4 mm galvinised iron strip, fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required complete all as specified and directed.
