Maintenance of Nursery including watering the plants, mixing garden earth manure, filling pits, preparing potted plants sowing seeds, interculturing, propagating seedling and new saplings in polythene bags, transferring it to potted plants later, removing weeds, trimming, Sweeping concrete / pathway and including disposing of unwanted vegetations etc., transporting the cut branches through contractors own tractors to dumping yard and disposing them as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of tractor and labour for transporting of cut leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening or nursery etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. The area not maintained by contractor is deducted then and there. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Pruners, Hoe, Wheelbarrow etc., 5. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 1500 sq.m / day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 6. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours. 7. The contractor shall engage 1 site supervisor (who has acquired minimum certificate course in Horticulture) throughout the month, failure to employ the supervisor will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour.

Collection, supplying and stacking good quality Red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for premeasurement at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking of Decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same to at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and supplying of following pot, including suitable tray at bottom, terracotta colour (unless otherwise mentioned below) all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Arrangement of variety of flowers in flower vases three times in a week and placing the same at various rooms, seminar, lecture Halls, auditorium etc., in various places inside IGCAR including picking the flowers from department nursery, placing in vases, removing and disposal of flowers, refilling of water inside the vase etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of picking the flowers from Department Nursery. 2. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for three times in a week as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum number of labour will attract the penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour.

Arrangement of flower pots monthly two times for various buildings in IGCAR area including loading / unloading, watering the plants daily and maintaining them in the nursery and in buildings etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of labour for transporting the flower pots. 2. The contractor shall engage minimum 4 person daily for shifting flower pots throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Failure to employ the above minimum number of labour will attract the penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour.

Supplying and spreading of Cocopeat made out of coconut husk in a multi purpose growing medium size bag (cost of bag will paid separately under relevant item) etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and spreading of Vermicompost including cost etc. all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of growth regulators / hormones all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. – Rooting powder

Supply of flower vases of 200mm to 300mm (8 to 12 inches) height, made up of glass/fibre, shape and design as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and supplying of polythene bags for plants of different size with 600 micron thickness black colour complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and spreading of Fertilizer of Bio Nature at a ratio of 1:1 (Organic Plant Nutrition) including cost of fertilizer etc., all as per specification for indoor plants at the rate of 0.01kg/Sq.m all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of plant pesticides all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. – Neem oil

Trimming road side tree branches gives hindrance to road side and along the compound wall, including cutting, collecting and disposing the trimmed branches / fallen tree branches at places shown by departmental Engineer (In IGCAR Plant site fallen trees shall be disposed to the disposal yard through the CTS gate) with all lead complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes of tree branches.

Supplying and planting of following plants/saplings of good quality & healthy appearance with blooming nature etc., including excavation, transportation, planting, refilling with suitable excavated soil mixed with red earth, manure or sludge as directed (cost of red earth, manure or sludge to be paid separately under relevant item) and initial watering all as per standard practice complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The plants having 30cm to 60cm height (unless otherwise mentioned below), well developed, fresh and healthy nature.

Conveying the surplus excavated earth & debris, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and depositing at places inside DAE installation identified as Dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of Rock from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 3 kilometre but not exceeding 4 kilometre

Clearing light jungle area of all kinds of shrubs, bulb weeds, grass, small plants, branches including cutting all unwanted plants, branches, twigs, wild growth, thorny leaves etc. complete, and disposing the same as place specified by Engineer, transporting at contractors own cost complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The unwanted cut bulb weeds, wild grass, unwanted vegetation are to be periodically collected and transported to dumping yard. During execution period any damages shall be rectified to the original at contractor cost. The measurement for payment shall be taken prior to cut the jungle and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include the cost of labour, transportation, loading, and unloading at dumpyard or place as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:3:6 using 25mm maximum size graded aggregates and crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications.

Levelling, bull-dozing the heeped / dumped loosened earth / debris etc., by hiring JCB / Bull-dozer etc., including transporting, operating the vehicle, operating the vehicle by engaging driver/operator with valid driving license, diesel charges, insurance and admissible taxes, labour if any required etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling, removing and refixing at specified location of existing green net cloth, structural steel members with roof truss arrangement, mist foam drip irrigation with entire pipe line system at all levels including lifting, scaffolding, using crane with riggers, helpers and disposal of unserviceable materials to the dumping/stack yard with 50metres lead complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Approximate size of Green net shaded shed (Mist house) is 30m x 12m, average height is 4.5m.

Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like trusses, purlins etc. using MS hollow / circular / square / rectangular tubular sections including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Lifting device arrangements if any required shall also be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

Operation of mixing garden earth manure, filling pits, preparing potted plants, sowing seeds, interculturing, propagating, seeding and new saplings in polythene bags, transferring it to potted plants later in IGCAR nursery (required material will be paid under relevant item) complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The contractor shall engage minimum 1 Female coolie in general shift timing 9:00 to 17:00 hours every day throughout the year excluding Sundays and holidays. If any shortfall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 1job/Female coolie/day shall be deducted from the RA bills.
