De-Silting of Drains & Cross-Drains: Excavation of the deposited silt/clay/floating debrics/organic waste/vegetation etc. From the drain and making the drain bed free of these substances and subsequently, depositing on the side of the drain with manual means including removal of manholes where necessary including providing necessary safety arrangements such as necessary barricading, safety ribbons, proper road signages during the procees. Cleaning should be done after each shower, if necessary and as directed by the department.
