Taking out old filter media containing mud, coarse sand, fine sand, grit and gravel from filter beds, depositing the same to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the plant, segregating different grade materials, stacking the serviceable materials after cleaning and washing for removing all dirt, dust, mud and other impurities and stacking unuseful material separately complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Measurement will be carried out for volume of filter media before removing the same.

Laying & filling only washed clean gravels in filter media beds of size 20 mm to 50 mm in layers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of filters tanks (area 125 sqm approx) and applying two coats of white wash on wall surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Dewatering the floculator of size 5.33 m dia and 4m deep for cleaning the mud and slushy water manually or by using pumping set and disposal of the same at 50 mtr away from the filtration plant including cleaning of wall, floor and bridge structure after chipping, scraping of structure and scraper blades angle iron with wire brush and steel patti and emery paper including painting to steel surfaces with a coat of black bitumen paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removing mud / silt from 5.5 meter dia & 4.5 metre depth Sedimentation Tank, Clarifier, Channels and drains etc. and disposal of the same to a distance not exc 50 meter from the staring point, cleaning entire internal surafce carefully with appropriate tools and washing whole tank with alum ferric grade-II water and thereafter with bleaching powder complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and laboure for demolition & reconstruction of valve chambers of size 900 x 900 x 600 mm deep (Over all internal dimension) for sluice valve etc. with PCC foundation, Brick masonry walls, Plastering, PCC Coping, white washing, mild steel chamber cover, painting to chamber cover including removal of all rubbish to a distance not exceeding 100 metre complete all as specified below:-

(i) Cement concrete for foundation (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 100mm thick extended up to 100 mm beyond the outer face of brick masonry.

(ii) Walls of valve chamber shall be 230 mm thick with old size sub class B brick, in CM 1:6 complete.

(iii) Internal and exposed surfaces of valve chamber both concrete and brick masonry surface shall be plastered with CM (1:4), 15 mm thick finished even and smooth.

(iv) 50 mm thick coping in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 over brick masonry wall. (v) Entire plastered surfaces shall be treated with 3 coat of white wash.

(vi) Chamber cover shall be of 3 mm thick mild steel sheet with 40 x 40 x 6 mm size angle iron frame with hold fast and locking arrangement. steel surface shall be painted with two coats of synthetic paint of first quality over one coat of red oxide primer.
