Coastal Protection Work under Maharashtra Sustainable Climate Resilient Coastal Protection Management Program at Devbag Dist-Sindhudurg ( Riverbank Protection along Karli River )
Item No. 1 :Cost for removing sand from the designated area in the river by suitable dredger sludge pump or other means, bund formation, pipe line laying, discharging the slurry and draining the water into the river. The removed sand shall be stacked and used for land development between driven sheet piles and river bank, filling inside piles up to a maximum distance of 2 km from the stacking area for land development by filling, leveling and compacting to the required levels as per the design drawings including cost of mobilization & demobilization of dredger, sludge pumps or equivalent equipment, boats, excavators and required machineries, pumps, pipe lines , surveys, all labour, material, fuel including towing charges, port charges as applicable and all other incidental expenses etc.,to complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer incharge.
Item No. 2:-Supply and fabrication of cylindrical steel Pile of dia 600mm to 1219mm mm and length 18 to 24 m using MS plate of 16mm thick , E 350 grade BR as per IS 2062 grade B and as per design drawing including cutting, bending,rolling, joining the connectors as recommended and welding with all consumables, cost of all men, material , tools, tackels, etc. to complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer incharge.
Item No. 3: Lowering, pitching, driving the Cylindrical steel pile of dia 600mm to 1219mm of 16mm thick MS plate in position and driving from the existing bed level upto (-) 15 m to (-) 20 m CD using suitable, Vibro hammer, excavator/Crane, barge, boat as per the methodology of the contractor as per design drawing including cutting, joining and welding with all consumables with the cost of men, materials,tools,tackles,etc., to complete as per the specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge
Item No. 4:Supply of sheet Pile materials AZ 25 700 section or equivalent of E 350 Grade BR for 18.7 m length as per design drawing including joining and welding with all consumables, cost of men, materials,tools,tackles,etc.,to complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer incharge.

Item no.13 Supplying and laying laterite stones upto 20 kilogram for Filter / Core layer including conveying with all the leads, lifts, laying in required lines, level, slope as per drawing including necessary equipments and machinery as directed by etc. complete in tidal conditions.
Item No.14 : Pre-construction Surveys ( Both Bathymetry & Topography) for (2000 m X 100 m)
A) Carrying of detailed topographic survey by using total station along the existing or new road including taking L-section and cross section at every 30 meter ROW ,taking at least 10 spot levels per cross section, picking up all existing details inside the Row like electric telephone line , encroachments, structures etc. connecting all the primary total station control points by G.I.S.Bench marks level or whichever available with department using auto level and preparing Auto CAD plan by using above data taking out 1 set of black and white printout on 50 micron polyster film sheet A2 size and 2 sets of coloured printout on A2 size submitting soft copy all data on CD. B) Carrying of detailed bathymetric survey in river channel (Pre-construction and Post-construction )

A. Physical Environment
a) Adherence to national air, noise and water quality (ground, surface and marine) standards, and government clearances.
b) Handling and proper disposal of wastes as per national standards
c) Installation of mobile toilets near construction sites
d) Contingency plans to address oil/fuel spills should be initiated immediately.
e) Accidental oil/fuel spills – Contingency plans that addresses contamination of marine / river water
f) Waste generated at the construction sites and campsites should not be disposed on land but should be managed as per relevant national regulations.
B. Biological Environment
a) Preparation of the Biodiveristy Action Plan (BAP)
b) Implementation of BAP
C. Economic, Social and Cultural Environment
a) Removal of all equipment, waste and construction materials debris site, and use of safety sign boards.
b) Consultations with relevant stakeholders to schedule construction activity.
General Community Health and Safety
(a) Install and maintain signage and barricading of construction site,
(b) identification of any incidental health and safety risk by public consultation,
(c) equipment, waste, and construction material debris must be inspected and removed daily from site, display boards at critical locations along the construction site giving emergency instructions to people, and
(d) personal protective equipment (PPE) to be procured by the Contractor for use during emergencies
Workers’ Health and Safety
(a) Identify the hazardous activity and provide PPE requirements
(b) implementation of site-specific health and safety plan.
(c) Provide safe drinking water sanitation and hygiene safe accommodation.
(e) Disaster Management Plan for all disaster events and ensure training and its implementation
