Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade over a primer coat including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of rcc over head tank as per the following process 1) dewaternig tank with submersible pump /or with suitable arrangement, de silting and removal of left over dirty water upto a depth of 100to 150mm in the bottom. 2) The sludge shall be removed by special sludge pump .sludge sucker should be a part of high pressure systeem which sucks the sludge and remove the same out of tank .3) The walls and celling shall be clean with mechanise high pressure jet machines by rotary jet systeem at 100-150 bar pressure (150kg/Sq.C.M) which should desolodge the layer of dirt alge,fungus ,stuck on its surface. 4) scurbbing machine shall be used for old stains along with cleaning chemical if required. 5) The floor of the dirty tank should be throughly cleaned by jet cleaner to removed all the accumulated dirt and remaing sludge should than be removed by the sludge pump. 6. The dirt silt and other foreign material should further be removed by Industrial Vaccum Cleaners having Max Power of 1200 W. with suitable heavy duty rugged Motor. The equipment must handle solid particles as well to make the floor totally dirt free. '7. Subsequently, Anti-Bacterial chemicals (NON TOXIC, BIO DEGRADABLE, ECO FRIENDLY) shall be sprayed/applied to ensure total sterilization of tank from the inside. '8. Finally, the Inside of the tank should be treated with ultraviolet Radiator to eliminate further floating bacteria/virus in order to make the tank totally clean, bacteria free and safe for storage of drinking water. All the above operations should be executed by trained workers and technicians, properly dressed along with gum boots, to work as per the direction of Engineer in charge. All safety Gadgets like Safety Belts, Special Safety Ladder, Helmets, Heavy Duty Gum Boots, Electric Safety Gloves and Special Working Gloves, Safety Goggles, Masks, Aprons, ventilator fans shall be used for safety reasons. All works shall be carried out as per the directions of the EIC complete. Notes : 1. The quoted rate shall include the cost of obtaining water connections for cleaning, drain lines,storage and Cleaning equipments like Scrubbers/Wipers, Storage drums, Sludge Collectors and Cisterns, and all tools tackles and other equipment’s including safe & proper disposal of sludge and waste water. 2. Rate shall include cost of writing date of cleaning with paint using stencils after removing the old date(if any) by painting, all complete.

Providing structural repairs in old damaged concrete structures / surfaces with approved Polymer with following operations 1) Removal of loose/Spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface and reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water 2) Cleaning the re bars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. 3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using polymer and cement in the proportion of 1; 1.5 (1 part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush 4) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20 mm with the proportion of Cement 50 Kg : washed and dried river sand 87.50 kg ; silica sand 37.50 Kg. mixed with 10 litres of Polymer (or 1 Kg cement : 1.75 kg washed and dried river sand ; 0.75 Kg silica sand : 200 ml polymer)5) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm , after every 20 mm thick repair, bond coat as per 2 above to be applied and further thick of repair to be continued for each layer. This work is inclusive of all materials, labour, complete all as directed at site using approved polymer suitable for structural repair shall be used) Note: Scaffolding will be paid separately under relevant item.

Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Diploma holder/Licentiate in Civil/Construction Engineering / Technology conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University/ Autonomous Govt / Govt recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out 1 Job per month for the period mentioned in NIT.(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis per month. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one engineer exclusively for the particular job.

Providing cuttingand fixing 12mm thick marine grade plywood as per IS710 on wooden frame at various levels including cost of all tools and tackles, consumbles etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in Charge.

Providing & supplying of Pick-up Van / Utility Van for various areas for the requirements arising from time to time inside and outside BARC. The Pick-up Van / Utility Van of five seaters capacity with the back side provision for transporting/ shifting of various construction / maintenance materials, machinaries and tools etc. and for other works including Driver as assigned and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (8Hrs. a day or 80 km max as per certification of Engineer-in-Charge). 'Conditions: 1. The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked inside the BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills. 6. BARC being a strategic Organisation, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid PVC, driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should be of not more than 8 years old, roadworthy all valid documents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically and always with tyres of good condition. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, including Goods & Service taxes (GST). 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. '17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a penalty of Rs. 3000 /- will be imposed for that week.

Deployment : The contractor shall deploy one data entry operator for each job for min. 8:30 hours per day with 30 minutes break in General (1st & 2nd ) or in round the clock shift on six days a week whenever necessary as per the descretion of the Security-in-Charge during entire contract period. 3. Period of work:The contractor shall carry out the job per day for the period as mentioned in NIT. 4. Attendance: the deployed person shall record attendance in register daily.

Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H frames with cup lock type on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note : (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. (2) For all items under this work order which require scaffolding, the Scaffolding will be measured and paid only once, irrespective of duration of scaffolding for the entire work and will not be seperately paid for each item. (3) Scaffolding shall be removed only after completion of all works. (4) The scaffolding once provided shall be removed after the entire work is neatly completed in all respects and payment shall be made after completion of all works and measurement will be taken only once. (5) Necessary aluminium/ M.S. ladder/staircase module shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, upto the full height of scaffolding at required locations around the building to enable department Engineer/Supervisor to closely supervise the repair work at heights.The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (6)Contractor has to make arrangement at his own expenses for temporary sealing of windows/openings with plywood, to avoid breaking of windows panes, and covering outdoor ac units during the progress of work. (7) Wherever scaffolding has to be erected over existing lawns or flowerbeds, then all such locations shall be completely covered with tarpaulins before erecting scaffolding. (8) Safety nets and nylon screens shall be provided for full height of scaffolding to prevent falling of debris and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (9) Scaffolding shall be erected as per the provisions of IS 3697. (10) All safety precautions and measures shall be taken as per BARC Construction safety Manual.
