Amount

Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 m wide for foundations, laying cables/ pipes etc. not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in SOFT/LOOSE soilcomplete, all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete, all as specified.

Removing excavated spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete, all as specified.

Dismantling and taking out existing under ground CI/DI pipes, Spigot and socketed / flanged/screwed ends of any length & type, including necessary fittings, burning of lead/rubber joints if any and bailing out water complete all as specified of size: -

Ductile iron pipes, class K-9, centrifugaly cast, flanged ends, ISI marked in any length, laid in trenches/ducts with & including suitable size rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts and washers & DI specials complete all as specified, of size: -

NOTE: Excavation & earthwork and supply only DI specials will be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BoQ.

DI specials/ fittings of any type, radius, angle, tapers, increasing, decreasing sockets, tees, tail pieces, and collars etc complete.

Joint with rubber or fibre board gasket including provision of bolts, nuts, washers and white lead or mineral oil etc IN REPLACEMENT, complete all as specified for CI/DI flanged pipes of size: -

Cutting the existing CI/GI/DI pipes upto 80mm in position for inserting new pipe attachment/ tees or for making new branches etc. with joint & jointing material, including necessary excavation & earth work complete all as specified

Steel tubes ‘medium grade’, ISI marked, galvanized with all fittings, laid in trenches including taking up or down existing unserviceable steel tubing and connections, complete all as specified, of size as under: -

Construction of brick masonary valve pit with and including MS sheet cover fabricated from 3 mm thick MS sheet and frame of angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 5 mm with fixing arrangement hinges and locking arrangement and painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on MS cover and frame including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, 150 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, brick work using pulverised fuel ash lime bricks in cement mortar 1:6, 15 mm plastering in cement mortar 1:4 both internally and externally, 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring complete all as specified, including demolition of existing valve pit having iternal size: --

Note : Amount of credit for retrieved materials is mentioned in Sch of credit of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted while acceptance of tender offline.
