Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type A 13.2mm stone for screening and gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by manual means - Water bound macadam Gr-II with stone screening 13.2mm metal. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means. (As per MORTH specification, 4th Revision)

.Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant of capacity not less than 40 -60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 507.7 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, to achieve the desired compaction. - using grade II metal and bitumen 60/70 grade.

Providing and laying semi-dense bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 - 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 508 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II material and using birumen 60/70 grade

Providing and forming earthern cofferdam of size 7.0m at bottom and 3m on top with empty cement bags filled with available earth packing them in rows to a height of 3.50m guided with bamboo or casuarina struts of 125mm dia driven at 0.60m intervals to a depth of 0.90m below bed level ,8 horizontal bamboo or casuarina struts of 80mm dia plugged with clay mud in gaps and properly nailed. The rate shall be including the cost of excavating ordinary sand , filling, stitching and packing in proper position, cost of empty cement bags, coir, nails and dismantling the driven piles for reuse etc., complete. Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a specified consolidated thickness for sub base course including stacking of the material to the departmental gauge on road side for pre – measurement the volume of stocks calculated as per the actual measurement shall be reduced by 15% for looseness in stacking to arrive at the net quantity. The rate shall including labour charges for spreading and hand packing to the required camber and graded and rolling with power roller hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed and the cost of boulders etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(Previously Approved vide Lr.No: 468/PW/SE-III/KKL/JE5/ 2012-13 Dt. 14.09.2012)
