M&L for laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specified Table 400-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for laying and compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM, laid in two layers of 75 mm each Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, the finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.
Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 10 kg/10sqm on surface of WMM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified directed.
M&L Premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content by weight of total mix (using paving bitumen VG-30) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber rolled/laid with power roller (consolidated thickness 50mm) including preparation of area before laying of macadam complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- i) Exact quantity of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design mix. ii) Minimum 4% of binder shall be used. However incase more than 4% of binder content is required as per design mix,the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost.
M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 3 kg/10sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed complete all as specified and directed.
Material and Labour for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix spread evenly with mechanical paver to desired thickness and to the correct camber, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller/vibratory roller/double drum or tandem roller as suitable complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for preparation of newly brickwork, stone, concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for 100 mm thick (Consolidated) moorum/red bajri in formation, berms etc. spreading, compacting and rolling shall be done by 8-12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.
