(ii) Drawings & profile for grading of taxiway strips for Parallel Taxi Track/Link taxi and its merger with runway strips as per DGCA-CAR/relevent specifications. (iii) Drawings & profile for construction of Parallel Taxi Track & Link taxi as per DGCA-CAR/relevent specifications. The above documents needs to be submitted for approval by Engineer-In-charge.
Dismantling of Cement Concrete Pavement by mechanical means using pneumatic tools, breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials within airport premises, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make(Narolac or equivalent) as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. With material conforming to Grade-II (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-25
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying dry lean cement concrete with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 26.5 mm, aggregate cement ratio not exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specification, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 MPa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant as per mix design, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge
Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Payment shall be made for compacted quantity only. The challan for royalty paid to concerned government body shall be submitted to EIC) (Note:- Item is considered for replacement of BC soil and make up of undulatation wherever required in subgrade along with to ensure minimum CBR value of subgrade as per design parameter.)
Providing and placing in position 200 mm thick factory made machine batched & machine mixed Precast RCC Rectangular Covers on drains of various sizes, of M-30 grade cement concrete for RCC work, including cost of centering, shuttering, reinforcement of 16 mm dia TMT bars of Fe 500 or Fe550grade @ maximum 100mm c/c in two layer of long span & 12 mm dia tmt bars @ 120 mm c/c in short span ,neat cement punning on finished surface, properly encased on all edges with 1.6 mm thick , 200 mm wide MS sheet duly painted over priming coat , reinforcement to be welded at edges with MS sheet and providing 2 Nos. 12 mm dia bar for hooks, holes for entry of rain water into the drain etc i/c cost of cartage, all leads & lift, handling at site etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material]
Providing and laying of HOT Mix Semi Dense Asphatic Concreate (SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality size grading as specified and cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosit Grade Bitumen ( supplied in buik) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specifiled levels, grade and camber as per specification , drawings and as directed bt the Enhineer-In -Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specifed values of compactiion , strength, surface accuracy complete ( for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 120 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bilk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregate as filler meterial.
Providing and laying of HOT Mix Dense Asphatic Concreate (DAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality size grading as specified and cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosit Grade Bitumen ( supplied in bulk) in proporations as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification , drawings and as directed by the Engineer-In -Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specifed values of compaction , strength, surface accuracy complete ( for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 content shall be taken as 135 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bilk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregate as filler meterial).
Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion SS1 grade conforming to IS:8887 on prepared surface of Granular Base including clearing of surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The contractor shall quote his rates assuming quantity of bitumen emulsion as 0.70 Kg/Sqm. If the actual quantity of bitumen emulsion varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen emulsion shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen emulsion exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
Providing and applying tack coat (using bitumen emulsion (Rapid setting) complying with IS:8887), spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.20 Kg/Sqm on existing bituminous surface
Providing and applying tack coat (using bitumen emulsion (Rapid setting) complying with IS:8887), spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.30 Kg/Sqm on existing concrete surface
Providing laying and fixing of self adhesive Glass fiber reinforcement grid of minimum tensile strength 100 KN/m in both directions (longitudinal and transverse) and high modulus fibre glass (Young's modulus E not less than 69000 MPa) of mesh size not exceeding 12.5mm x 12.5mm. The grid shall be pressed down fully with a rubber tired roller and glued to pavement surface. The Longitudinal overlap should not be less than 250 mm and transverse overlap i.e. at the end of the roll should not be less than 150 mm
Supply of Cast Iron Isolating Transformer Housing box (double hole type), water tight round type, metal container of outside dia 330 mm, height 450 mm made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all around, except top surface, which is 15 mm thick cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate / cover plate on the top and having two hole on the periphery center, 75 mm above bottom surface suitable to receive 50 mm dia GI pipe & 15 mm dia GI pipe as required. The box should have two SS earth bolts of M10 x 40 MM tapped inside near the hole (4” away from the hole centre) and having drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15 mm dia GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 nos M10 tapped hole having centre to cetre distance 260mm along with bolts complete etc as required.
Installation of transformer housing boxes with a base concrete of 1:3:6 of size 630x630x100mm thick all round concrete of 1:2:4, 150mm thick top sloped with 1:2:4 cement concrete including providing and fixing 300 mm long 15mm dia “B” class GI pipe with check nut for drainage of water including excavation of earth and refilling complete etc. as required.
