Disconnecting and taking down old unserviceable existing battery bank of any description and in any position, supplying, fixing, commissioning and testing new battery charging unit of 28 Volts 180 AH DC out let input 230 volts AC enclosed in suitable size sheet metal enclosure with and including volt meter & Ammeter of suitable range & variable output type charging transformer including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on all steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in- charge. Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level) connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32x6 mm (main earthing lead) by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt around earth plate & 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for earth lead protection pipe for suitable length and GI pipe 20 mm dia medium grade for watering pipe with funnel & wire mesh including necessary earth work and PCC (1: 3 : 6) type C-1 for earth pit , internal surface of concrete shall be given 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 and 40 mm thick precast RCC cover in 1 : 2 : 4 type B1 with 3 Nos 8 mm dia TMT bars both ways with 12mm dia round bar handle complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Copper strip and GI protection pipe medium grade, up to 7.5mtr shall be deemed to be included in the rates quoted for earthing. (ii) Excavation and earth work in any type of soil strata shall be deemed to be included in rates quoted for earthing. Disconnecting and taking down battery for 33 KV power bank and S & F new battery 12 Volt 180 AH including all connected items as specified and directed.

Supply, filling and for topping up the CTs/PTs with new transformer oil in factory sealed container duly filtered with filtration plant. Note:- (a) The transformer oil shall be type EHV confirming to IS 3357 of 1983 (b) Mineral oil grade 'B' shall be used. Removing/scraping the existing pre-painted aluminium paint preparing surface for applying new paint with two coats of approved quality aluminium paint on 2 Pole structure, four pole structure and channels along with existing accessories such as clamps, channels, angles, bracing etc of 33 KV substation yard all as directed and required and 0.5 Mtr marking bottom of poles, channels with red colour paint strip of 5 cm thick at a interval of 5 cm up to 0.5 mtr height from the bottom. Note : (i) Painting will be done by part by part as per available of shut down and yard approximate 55 x 60 Mtr area. (ii) Contractor in advance to visit the site before quoting.
