ROAD WORK Providing and laying Bituminous Tack Coat ofbitumen grade (VG-10) using 2 kg/10 sqm area on existing bituminous surface complete in all respect including cost of bitumen VG-10 as MORT&H clause 503 of MORT&H specification-2013 latest edition. Instructions issued by MORT&H from time to time regarding bitumen VG-10 will be followed strictly.

Collection, Carriage, Supply & Laying of aggregate from any approved quarry which shall be either crushed or broken stone. They shall be hard, durable and free from excess of flat alongated soft and disintegrated particles dust and other objectionable matter. They shall be stacked 2mx1.50mx0.35 in size. For purpose of payment the volume of stacks will be worked out as per actual measurement and quantity will be reduced by 10 % prescribed as percentage and the reduced quantity will be considered as the quantity supplied for purpose of payment and from the approved quarries/sources, stacked separately on even ground on road side clear of formation width and parallel to the centre line of road to stack measurement shall be made to arrive at volume to be paid for (MORT&H specification section Clause No.(404.2.2)

Providing and laying 30mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 80-100 THP Batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder VG-40 @5.4% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory or with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per No. Clause No. 507 of MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 complete in all respect. If bitumen required is more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, Extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note:- before carrying out bituminous work, coating and stripping of bitumen agreegate mix is to be performed in accordance IS-6241. If coating and striping of bitumen agreegate mix is less than 95%, anti-striping agent will be used by contractor. The anti stripping agent be confirm to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982: 2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti stripping agent alongwith procedure shall be approved by SE-IN-Charge in writing before start to work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Thickness of BC to be laid over the existing black top is to be adjusted in such a manner that a camber of 2.5% is achieved. Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in DNIT, required to achieve 2.5% camber shall be incidental to work. Note:- Before laying BC on existing black top surface, any existing pot holes and cracks over and above providing in the item No. 2 shall be repaired and sealed in accordance with Clause No. 3004.2 and 3004.3. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in M.B but no payment on this account shall be made as these items are incidental to work.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cm measured at a height of 1 metre above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 meter outside the road periphery of the area cleaned(HSR 6.26)
