Part I : Improvement of the Road Vettavalam To Agaram Road Km 1/650 - 4/350 R36

Clearing the Scrub jungle including cutting the scrubs and removing away from site etc.,

Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blasting depositing on bank with initial lead of 10M and lift of 2M including all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring, strutting, providing coffer dams, bailing out of water as per 20B

Collection and supply of gritty gravel from appd quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including all labour charges for spreading and compaction with power roller etc.complete,

Picking up existing BT surface upto 5 to 10cm of old mettalled surface, cambering, sectioning of carriage way etc., complete

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) 250 mm thick, including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory Soil Compactor to achieve the desired density including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as pwe clause 406 of MORTH Rev-5

Providing and laying PRIME COAT over the WMM surface using 7.00 Kg of Bituminous Emulsion SS I for 10 sqm. Including cost of bituminous emulsion which will be supplied by the department at section stores and its cost will be recovered as per special condition appended including labour charges for preparing the surface for laying prime coat and for applying required quantity of bituminous emulsion by mechanical sprayer including hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed etc., complete as per clause 503 of MOST 5 specification.

Providing and laying TACK COAT over the WMM surface (treated with primer) using 2.50 Kg of Bituminous Emulsion RS I for 10 sqm. Including cost of bituminous emulsion which will be supplied by the department at section stores and its cost will be recovered as per special condition appended including labour charges for preparing the surface for laying tack coat and for applying required quantity of bituminous emulsion by mechanical sprayer including hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed etc., complete as per clause 503 of MOST specification.

Providing and laying Tack coat over BT surface using 3Kg of bitumen 60/70 for 10sqm area including cost and conveyance of bituminous binder including labour charges for preparing the surface and applying the required quantity of bitumen as tack coat emulsion by mechanical sprayer including hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed etc., complete as per clause 503 of MOST specification

Providing and Laying Bituminous Macadam 50mm thick used micx formula mixes in job mix plant of drum type in one layer for overlay as shown in drawing using paving bitumen 60/70 penetration grade as per IS 73 and aggregate confirming to grading.

Providing and laying Bituminious concrete to 25mm thick using 0.13cum of 19.00-9.50mm. 0.17cum of 9.5-2.36 and below with 50.3kgs of VG30/VG40 heating the bitumen and aggregates to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, carrying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonnes vibratory/phenumatic roller to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc. including hire charges and fuel charges foe 20-30t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks, paver finisher/9m paver finisher, vibratory/phenumatic roller and all other tools and plants required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clauses 507 of MORTH Part-5

Providing rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15-20 mm at centre and 250mm wide placed at 1m intervals centre to centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of/road

Metal Beam Crash Barrier Type - A, "W" Double Guard Providing and erecting Single sided Double Guard Metal Beam Crash Barrier System 1.70m high, comprising of 3mm thick wall "W" beams posts and spacer channels shall be made by cold roll forming using HR conform to IS 5986 Fe 410/360 and dip galvanized having Zinc Mass of 550gms/sqm, 9 minimum 950mm above road/ ground level fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post 150x75x5mm spaced 2m center to center 312mm x 83mm flange width x 3mm thick, 4318mm long post directly embedded in the concrete (M15) pit size 350x350x800mm for a depth of 750mm below ground. All fixing bolts and nuts hot dip galvanized conforming to IS: 1367 clause 4.60 all complete as per Technical Specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under NABARD Fund including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost for carriageway width of 3.00m & 3.75m
