Total value of Civil Engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years year-wise

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Banker Details

Bidder shall not be under declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by any State Government or Government of India or Union Territory.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value Min Rs.500/- or & Max Rs.7500/- or soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

As per Karnataka state Government order No. LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007 a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards labour welfare fund and contractors should follow strictly prevailing rules of labour act.

Tenderer shall obtain the Work Done Certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer District Level Officer and scan the original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the bid.

Financial year will be reckoned as the period between first day of April and Thirty First day of March of succeeding year both days inclusive

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The tenderer shall scan the original ownership documents/lease/hire commitment agreement for the machineries and attach the scanned file to the bid.

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons.

Royalty Charges will be Deducted in every bill of contract as per rules.

Department Registration Details.

The Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

All safety precautions warning signs night illumination reflectors deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. The contractor should indemnify the client to that extent.

The Item Rates quoted shall include cost of Royalty charges on constructive materials & other taxes as per the rates prevailing Government Orders at the time of execution and including cost and conveyance of all materials, curing, loading and unloading with all leads and lifts, labour, hire charges of machinery & equipment etc., complete and all incidental charges. All the items shall be executed as directed by the Engineer-in-charge of work.

Tenderer who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria will only be qualified if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value.

All Materials required for this work shall be procured by the bidder himself and should got tested by the quality control authorities at his own cost before use on the work.

To qualify for award of this contract each bidder should give all details and documents as per Technical and Financial bid attached to this tender.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the standard tender documents KW-1 KPWD and further orders thereon.

period for completion of work is 01 Months (including monsoon)

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit for an amount 5% of the Contract price.

The Department is not responsible for any delay in accessing eprocurement portal.

Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2026-27 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section

The Tenderer should be a PWD Registered class IV & Above contractor

The Earnest Money Deposit Rs. 23,000.00 By epayment infavour of Executive Engineer PWD Division Karwar.

Terms and conditions as per KW-1

Any deviation / error / mistake found in units of items they should be read as in the unified SR 2023-24 and the rates shall be quoted accordingly.

The Estimate rates are exclusive of 18% GST

GST will ne paid as per the present rates at 18%, if GST revises (Increases or Decreases) same shall be paid accordingly as per the Govt Circular No. FD 417 EXP-12/2024 Dtd:09.08.2024.

Details of owned or rented machinery required to safely demolish the building must be provided JCB and Hitachi / Excavators, Concrete Breakers, Tippers / Dumper Trucks to transport waste.

The Contract Shall be awarded to the Contractor whose quoted price exceeds the estimate cost.

The successful bidder will obtain complete ownership of iron, timber, stones, and bricks originating from the building only after paying the full contract amount to the government in advance.

The entire work must be completed within a maximum of 30 days from the date of receiving the Work Order.

If surrounding government buildings, electric poles, water pipelines, or public property are damaged during the demolition process, the loss must be borne entirely at the contractors own expense. The department is not liable to pay any compensation. The contractor is fully responsible for the safety of workers and the public during the work period the department will not be responsible for any accidents.

Work completion will be considered only after the building is demolished, concrete waste is entirely transported to the site designated by the government, and the area is cleaned.

Barricades or temporary walls must be mandatorily installed around the demolition site.

The contractor must provide helmets, safety shoes, and gloves to all personnel working on the site.

Experienced supervisors and technical staff must be deployed to execute the work safely.

As per rules, failure to complete the work within the scheduled 30 days will attract a daily penalty of 0.5% per contract terms, and a fine of Rs 2,000 per day for delay in clearing concrete waste.

Before demolishing the building, ensure that electricity HESCOM and water connections are completely disconnected in the presence of the departments Site Engineer.

i)Days 1 to 5: Manually dismantle and safely extract building windows, doors, iron bars, and wooden materials without causing damage (Salvage Extraction).ii) Days 6 to 10: Completely demolish major walls, concrete roofs, and pillars using JCB or Excavator machines. iii) Days 11 to 20: Transport damaged concrete, bricks, stones, and soil waste (debris) via tipper trucks to the local municipality or department-designated dumping yard. iv) Final 5 Days (Buffer Period): Excavate and remove underground foundations, level the entire ground, and hand it over to the department.

If the contractor fails to start the work within the specified timeline even after receiving the Work Order, the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and Security Deposit paid by them will be forfeited by the government.

Debris Clearance Penalty-If the building is demolished but its concrete debris is not transported to the designated site within 7 days and the space remains occupied, a separate fine of Rs. 2,000/- per day will be levied.
