18.1) Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections using materials produced by SAIL / RINL (Vizag Steel) / TATA. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials
19) Providing and fixing 35 mm thick flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with internal teak wood lipping 25mm wide and fixing with 4 Nos of 125 mm long Stainless steel Hinges with S.S. wood screws complete.
20) Providing and fixing FRP door shutters flush door / panelled type with plain colour or wooden veneer finish of approved make, design & colour. made out of 1.5 mm thick FRP skin moulded over wooden frame work of 40 mm wide and required thickness wooden styles and minimum 100 mm wide lock rails and wooden blocks for door stoppers, tower bolts, baby latch, aldrop, handles etc. wherever required and core filled with Polyurethane Foam and fixing with 4 Nos 100 mm (ISI marked) stainless steel hinges with S.S. wood screws
20.1) 35 mm thick panelled door type of approved colours including the cost of 100 mm ISI marked heavy quality stainless steel butt hinges with necessary screws.
21) Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clear story openings and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position of required size and shape including sawing, jointing,making rebates for shutters, making grooves as shown in the drawings, finishing the surfaces to the required finish all as per specifications and drawings including necessary MS hold fasts 40 mm X 3 mm thick, 200 mm long / with coach screws including protective painting to the suface that will come in contact with walls, joining materials, labour etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
21.1) Second class teak wood
22) Providing and fixing anodized aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS 733 and IS 1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically whereever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per drawings and and directions of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of PVC / neoprene gasket required filling the gaps using silicon grout sealent etc. (fittings glazing and panelling shall be paid for separately)

33) Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS 15622 of approved make. shade and colour of size ranging from 300 - 600 mm long and 300 mm - 600 mm wide and thickness not less than 6 mm as approved by Engineer-in-charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (using crushed sand), setting the tiles in cement slurry and pointing the joints with matching colour Tile grout of approved make of matching shade including using PVC tile trim in the exposed corners, complete as per drawings, patterns and specifications complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
34) Providing and laying minimum 25 mm thick uniform shade Kotah stone flooring over 20 mm thick (Avearge) base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing in minimum three levels to obtain mirror polish complete with base cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) all as per specifications, patterns and drawings complete.

61) Providing cement based water proofing treatment to the new terraces, chajjas, cleaning the concrete surfaces, giving injections to the top slab as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherient holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in the concrete slab, setting brickbat coba in waterprrof mortar with necessary gradient for easy flow of water and continue the treatment along the inner faces of parapet or other adjoining wall up to a height of 300 mm in thew shape of vattas, with waterproof plaster finished smooth with trovel in cement / geru with false markings of 300 mm squares complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

62) Providing Chemical based water proofing of modified acrylic emulsion Polymer and Elasomeric waterproofing coating of "M/s. INDOFIL"- MC-76 or approved equivalent product over terrace slab/ parapet/ side walls etc. at all elevations including polycon based fibrous net complete including cleaning and preparation of surface and testing by ponding water complete with following operations 1. Removing of all loose materials by wiremesh and clean entire terrrace with clean water by using water jet wherever required. 2.Open all visible crack by plaster cutting machine in "V" shape 3. Dilute Indifil binder with water in the Ratio of 1:4 and pour on the bare slab to be treated 4. Apply Indfofil binder and cement in the ratio of 1:1 and water to obtain paste like consistancy and fill the cracks. 5.Apply Indofil bond coat of INDOFIL binder and cement in the ratio of 1:1 to entire terrace. 6. First coat of INDOFIL binder & cement at the rate of 1.48sq.m per litre of Indofil 7.Lay polycon based firous net (polester geotextile of minimum 80 GSM) for entire area immediately before drying of first coat to get proper bonding 8. Apply one miore coat of INDOFIL binder & cement above fibre net 9. Apply 2 coats of INDOFIL- FlexCote -WP @ 2.40 Sq.M per litre with dilution 10% weight of potable water. 10.Test the surface for water tightness
63) Providing Rough cast plastering 25 mm thick for exterior masonry and concrete surfaces laid in 2 operations base coat with cement mortar 1:4, (using crushed sand), 15 mm thick and finishing coat with cement and gravel/ stone chips in proportion of 1:3, 10 mm thick including double scaffolding up to 10.00 metres height wherever necessary, curing and hacking of concrete surfaces, addition of water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers specifications for both the coats complete as directed by the Enginner-in-charge (water proofing compound to be supplied by the contractor)
64) Providing 20 mm thick plastering using Ready mix external plastering compound of approved make for external faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning scaffolding up to 10 metres height complete.all as per specifications including forming drip moulds wherever necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
65) Providing 15 mm thick plastering using Ready mix internal plastering compound of approved make for internal faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-charge
66) Providing structural repairs in old damaged concrete structures / surfaces with approved Polymer with following operations 1) Removal of loose/Spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface and reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water 2) Cleaning the re bars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. 3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using polymer and cement in the proportion of 1; 1.5 (1 part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush 4) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20 mm with the proportion of Cement 50 Kg : washed and dried river sand 87.50 kg ; silica sand 37.50 Kg. mixed with 10 litres of Polymer (or 1 Kg cement : 1.75 kg washed and dried river sand ; 0.75 Kg silica sand : 200 ml polymer) 5) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm , after every 20 mm thick repair, bond coat as per 2 above to be applied and further thick of repair to be continued for each layer. This work is inclusive of all materials, labour, complete all as directed at site using approved polymer suitable for structural repair shall be used) Note: Scaffolding will be paid separately under relevant item
67) Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H- frames with cup lock type on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding
68) Providing and painting with two coats with oil bound distemper of approved make and manufacturer over new work to give an even approved shade and including priming coat with one coat of cement primer including preparation of sufaces, filling with putty if required, scaffolding complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
69) Removing white or colour wash, distemper, external paint by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete all as directed at site including scaffolding, cleaning of the areas.
70) Providing and applying white cement based wall putty of approved make over concrete or Plastered surface up to 3 mm thick to get uniform surface free from undulation including cleaning complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
71) Providing and painting old walls (TWO coats) over existing cement paint surface on plain / sand face plaster & concrete surfaces with premium acrylic smooth exterior paint of approved make, required shade, including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
71.1) On rough cast plaster surfaces
72) Providing and applying varnishing on wooden surfaces, Two coats of glue sizing with approved make varnish over an under coat of flatting varnish with varnish of approved brand and manufacturer including preparation of the surface by sand paper and filling the inherrant holes with wood filler and two finish coats to get required finishing all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
73) Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade over a primer coat.including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
74) Attending minor plumbing complaints such as bib tap, stop cock & pillar cock leakages (washer & tap replacement) flush tank repair (siphon repair, handle & nob repair work) & other misc. works related to plumbing etc. complete. Material will be supplied by the department free of cost. Tools and tackles shall be brought by the contractor.
75) Attending carpentary, complaints such as plaining of doors, repairs/replacement of hinges, locks, panels etc. & other misc. work related to carpentary etc. complete. Material will be supplied by the department free of cost. Tools and tackles shall be brought by the contractor.
76.1) From 0.0 to 1.5 m depth below average G.L.
77) Murum filling under floors of specified thickness in layers of not more than 150 mm thickness including supplying required materials and consolidation etc. complete (Murrum to be brought from out side campus of BARC)

Part -B (Furnishing works) 1) Providing and fixing wardrobe of size 6’6’’(1980 mm) X4’(1220 mm) having two compartments of depth 1’9”(550mm) made out of 18mm thick waterproof marine plywood of approved make fixed with 1.0mm foremica of approved shade and make on both side back of wardrobe will have 8 mm thick approved make waterproof marine ply with 1.0 mm formica on both sides. Both units to have drawers made out of 12mm thick marine plywood. The drawers to be mounted on telescopic channels and with high quality locking arrangement with two nos. key. The unit to be provided with shutters and fixed shelves made out of 18 mm thick waterproof marine plywood. The unit to be provided with SS hanger rod of matt finish of approved thickness. Shutters to be provided with SS stopper chain, handles and magnetic lock at top of high quality make etc. complete as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-In- Charge.
2) Providing and fixing single bed in laminate finish of size 3’0”(915 mm )X6’6”(1980 mm ). The head board and the foot board to be 25 mm thick duly laminated on both sides with teak wood lipping Patti on edges. The size of head board and foot board will be 600 mm and 450mm respectively. The side rails to be made out of double 19mm thick marine plywood i.e 38 mm thick duly laminated on both the sides. The top of the bed to be 12 mm thick marine plywood laminated on both sides. The rails to be joined to the headboard and footboard with tongue and groove joint with additional aluminum L angle of size 100 mm x 3 mm and rails to be provided with Ist class BTC teak wood legs of size 38 mm x 38 mm and height as shown in the drawing. The top to be supported with 3 nos. teakwood members of 2’’(50 mm)X1.5’’(38 mm )at equal spacing etc complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In- Charge.
3) Providing Study table of size 3’6’’ (1070 mm) X2’ (600 mm) X2’6” (760 mm) made out of 18 mm thick waterproof marine plywood fixed with sunmica on top. The table to be supported on 40 mm Ist. Class teak wood members with side rails of plywood of 200 mm width. The unit to have 2 drawers made out of 12mm thick marine plywood of depth 80 mm duly laminated on both sides with telescopic channel , handles and 6 mm thick back panels duly laminated on both sides etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
4) Providing Study chair made out of wooden frame work of 1 st class BTC as per sample. The seat /back of the chair to be upholstered with latex rubber covered with approved fabric etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
5) Providing arranging in position and fixing Shutter dimension as required in 19 mm thick.100% Waterproof Burch Plywood with Acrylic Surface, All Shutter to be Burch Plywood with Acrylic Surface with 19mm in front . Plywood internal surface to be Acrylic laminated. as per drawing & instruction of the EIC. All beadings, mouldings and Exposed wood work to be a teak wood (As per requirement of EIC). All teak wood moulding shall be finish in 3 coats of French polish.
