Repair to pot holes, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying a tack coat of bituminous primer (VG-30 Paving bitumen) @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (Including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exceeding 30mm complete all as directed.

Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1, grade confirming to IS 8887 , 3 Kgs/10Sqm) using emulsion pressure distributer on the prepared bituminous/ grannular surface cleaned with mechanical broom complete all as directed.

Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concerte, 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG-30 Paving bitumen) any penetration content as in semi dense asphaltic concrete rolled with 8 to 12 tonne tandem vibratory roller and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical paver complete all as directed.

Preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick center lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming (including reflectorizing glass beads@250 gms per sqm as per IRC-35-1997) to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instructions complete all as directed. Unit rate quoted by the contractor include for provision of red signals to keep off trafic from work, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light. 2. The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing any signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment untill the desired result is obtained.
