Labour only for checking the serviceability of different spares/ components/ parts of security/ light fittings/garden/ gate (LED, HPSV, HPMV, Metal Halide fittings etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, cleaning acrylic/glass cover connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTES FOR SCH `A’ ITEM NO 24 & 25 :- (i) Fixing charges for Spare Parts of the new & old replaced part(s) is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor for above items and cost of new parts shall be measured and paid separately as supply only against respect items of Sch ‘A’./BOQ (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools,Vehicles etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, wire, gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spare parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv) Contractor shall be paid for labour charges only once for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable/ defective parts in order to maintain the fitting in serviceable/working condition. (v) The accredited representative of Contractor shall daily report to JE E/M and receive the complaints and job card of U/S street lights on each working day and details his electirician for repair/rectification and make the street lights in serciceable condition. (vi) If his rep fails to report concerned JE, a panelty @ Rs. 500/- per day shall be recovered. The U/S defective each street lights shall be got repaired and make functional within two days from the issue of job card failing to which Rs. 50/- per light per day shall be recovered from the contractor as penalty. (vii) All security equipments will be provided by the contractor to the workers with out no extra cost. In case of any accident contractor will be responsible to give necessary medical aids and also compensation to the worker under compensation act 1923.

Dismantling and Taking out old unservicealbe cable and Supplying & fixing new PVC insulated, served with inner sheathed pvc tape weatherproof stranded Alumunium conductor cable twin core 2.5 Sqmm size for connecting from Over head conductor to street light fittings with connector etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 29.00 but of size 10 Sqmm twin core.

Disconnecting and taking out existing MS/PVC/Fibre boxes of any type and in any position on poles or fixed in the plinth and supplying and fixing in position new PVC (Synthetic) boxes of size 280mm X 170mm X 115mm depth, made out with Synthetic. The box shall be provided with and including 10 cm long aluminium bus bar of size 20x3 mm size 2 Nos mounted on porcelain insulators including one No. MCB SP of ‘C’ series, 5/6 Amps and connecting the bus bars to cables with using suitable GI nut, bolts and washers and aluminum lugs etc fixed on pole using 30x5 mm GI clamps, nuts, bolts & washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The contractors quoted rates for the above items are deemed to include for fixing the Synthetic box in position with suitable MS clamps and/or necessary PCC as per site requirement.

Disconnecting, taking out aluminum conductor cable 1100 volts grade of any type laid in trenches/ducts/ floors/ fixed to walls/poles etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes :-

(a) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 10 sqmm 2 core.

(b) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 16 Sqmm 2 Core.

Supply, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, aluminum conductor cable 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches/ducts, floors, fixed to pole/ walls etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes.

(a) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 16 Sqmm 2 core

(b) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 10 Sqmm 2 core

Laying and jointing old XLPE / P.V.C insulated, armoured, heavy duty, aluminium conductor cable 1100 volts grade of any type laid in trenches/ducts, floors, fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes :-

(a) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 10 sqmm 2 core.

(b) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 16 Sqmm 2 Core.

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing for provision of straight through joints, epoxy type with epoxy jointing materials, suitable for XLPE, LT Cable, 1100 Volts grade, for the following sizes of cables all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) 10 Sqmm to 16 Sqmm any core.

(b) 25 Sqmm to 35 Sqmm 3½ core.

Disconnecting existing LT over heated or burnt cable terminal Joints at existing panel/ board/feeder pillar box /overhead lines etc., cutting out over heated / burnt / unserviceable end portion of cable, stretching/ opening cable to suitable required length from available rings etc and fixing and connecting the cable in position properly by providing suitable new aluminium lugs and suitable GI nuts, bolts & washers etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge for the following sizes:-

(a) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 10 to 25 Sqmm of any core

(b) LT aluminium conductor cable of size 25 to 35 Sqmm of any core

Excavation in trenches in soft & loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil for laying cables/pipes etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including removing cable protection PCC covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable covers / bricks for reuse and disposal of unserviceable covers within 50 m all as directed. Note : Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and protection covers.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed & tested complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated spoil not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

M&L for dry and clean fine sand for cable cushioning to under ground cable protection, complete all as specified. Note: Punned thickness of sand cushioning shall be measured and paid.

M&L bricks for cover underground cable with one layer of bricks using sub class 'B' bricks (Old size) laid flat across the cable complete all as specified.

Laying only old retrieved serviceable bricks for cable protection with axis of the bricks perpendicular to the axis of the cable of any description as obtained from dismantling of the cable complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, laying & jointing in repair GI tubing bracket 40 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc for bracket 1.2 M length and as per site requirment as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling & taking out old existing unserviceable steel & iron items from poles and Supply & Fixing new steel & iron cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts & bolts, washers of any size and in any position to LT over head line poles/ street light poles complete all as specified & directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

S&F in repair garden light , outdoor type, pressure die cast powder coated housing with PC diffuser, efficient high output LED with IP 65 protection all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Havells cat part No CONEBL8WLED830PSYMTOPCM or equivalent models in Crompton Greaves /Bajaj.

S&F in repair decorative gate light made up of high grade unbreakable polycarbonate material suitable for upto 20 W LED bulb including LED bulbs, Mounting Pole Dia - 60 mm (max) OD, Dimension: Width: 189 mm & Height: 216 mm IP 65 all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking out the old burnt out ACSR conductor including removing binding wire from insulators/jumpers and removing unservicealbe ACSR conductor from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix LT OH lines on existing poles with ACSR conductors of size 1 of 6/1 x 2.59 mm (Weasel) all as specified and direcetd.

Disconnecting of any type of earthing strips/earth wire leads of any size, any description and in any postion from test point carefully and testing the earth resistance of any type of earthing with the help of digital earth tester of make WACO/or equivalent of suitable capacity maintaining record duly signed by users / JE E/M including carrying out periodical maintinance of joints of earthing strip, by opening, proper cleaning, rubbing the surface by sand paper/ file / tightening / replacement of nuts, bolts & washers of GI / brass and reconnecting of earthing strip/wire lead after test on original position complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (i). The contractor will arrange digital Earth Tester, all T&P & accessories for recording the reading.Testing shall be done as per method shown and described in instruction booklet of manufacturer of digital earth resistance tester. (ii). The record of resistance value of each earthing alongwith date of testing shall be maintained. (iii) Contractor will get the testing of earthing in such a way that each earthing shall be tested & maintenance repeately untill total qty covered on the working days. Hence contractor is advice to quote the rate accordingly. (iv)Testing of earthing shall be paid as one unit per earthing.

M&L for Reconditioning of high resistance earthing by watering in the earth pit through watering pipe mixed with common salt minimum 10 Kg for each earthing pit to improve the resistance and filled/dropped in earthing through de-watering pipe as per site condtion,de-watering pipe to be clean by means of appropriate size rod/steel wire all as directed. Note:- The water for this purpose shall be supplied by the deptt at the nearest available source but contractor shall make his own arrangement for drawing water from approved source.

Labour for rep/maint of of existing tilted/embeded earth pit by digging not exceeding 3 feet deep around earth pit , filling by nearby soil & re-adjusting the earth pit in proper manner all as directed .

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable / deshaped, aluminium / GI/copper earth strip of any size and in any position, stacking properly the serviceable strips for re-use in the work including making good the distrurbed surfaces to match with the existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking up Supply & fixing in repair light grade, 40mm dia GI tubing with all fittings fixed on walls/ poles/ in trenches as in earth lead protection pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in repair test point terminal block made out of Gun metal or phosphorous bronze of size 75 mmx75 mm x25 mm drilled and screwed including 03 nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screws complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for earth pit of internal size 300mmx300mmx300mm with wall thickness 100mm casting at site with and including PCC base 500X 500X100mm made of PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast 40mm thick RCC cover of (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), rainforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle etc.including removal of old broken unserviceable earth pit from site complete all as specified & directed. Note : - Excavation, returning filling and removal work deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Material & labour for earth pit cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, 320mm x 320mm x 40mm thick, cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle with and including necessary form work complete all as specified & directed. Note : - Excavation, returning filling and removal work deemed to be included in quoted rate.

S&F in repair GI funnel with wire mesh for watering the earth pit made to shape and size with using PGI sheet minimum 1.0mm thick and fixed in position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for marker fabricated with 14 gauge MS sheet of size 300mmx180mm rectangular with 20 mm square hollow bar 60 cm long duly painted of colour as directed for writing ER value, date of testing and due date for testing, Earth pit No etc including taking out old marker complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting one coat of synthetic enamel paint on earth pit & cover complete job with approved colour all as specified and directed.
