EARTHWORK

DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS EARTH: Carting away ( transporting and disposing ) of surplus earth,lime,moorum,rubbish,debris including refractory /insulation debris,shrubs and vegetations to designated area confirmed/allotted by EIC from construction area beyond the initial lead of 500M to anywhere including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as per the direction of the Owner/ Engineer-in- Charge. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (Volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids). Note :Exit gate of Refinery shall be decided by NRL / EIC as per the site condition . The arrangement of necessary land for disposal is in the scope of the contractor & The cost should be inclusive of same. Including necessary approval from the local authorities for the dumping area.

FILLING & BACKFILLING
BACKFILL WITH MATERIAL SUPPLIED BY CONTRACTOR: Backfilling around foundations, trenches etc to proper grade and level with excavating the earth from approved borrow pits (arranged by Contractor) including cost of backfill material along with all royalties/taxes etc, loading, transporting and laying at all depths / heights in layer of 200 mm loose thickness, watering and ramming to proper compaction to achieve 95% maximum proctor density, dressing etc all complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge and including certification of used material in compliance with the Soil Recommendations. (Compacted thickness shall be considered for volume of works measurement and payment)
CLEARING GRASS: Clearing the area of grass, rank vegetation, wild growth, bushes,shrubs, trees and plants upto 30 cm girth measured at a height of 1.0M above ground level from road side berms, under pipelines and structures, tank farms, drains, yards etc. by removal of grass ,plants etc. by uprooting/scrapping upto depth of 150 mm completely from ground and making good the area disturbed, collecting all uprooted vegetation etc. bundling into heaps and disposal outside owner’s battery area at earmarked places only within a lead of 4 km with contractor's own transport, all tools, tackles, labour etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
FELLING TREES: Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots, stacking of serviceable materials within owner’s battery area as directed and disposal of unserviceable materials etc. outside owner’s battery area ,all complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.

CONCRETE - P.C.C
Providing, mixing and laying blinding layer of PCC nominal mix using 40mm and downgraded coarse aggregate for any thickness below footings, plinth beams, G.F.slab, pilecaps, foundations, trenches, pits & sumps etc. as levelling course, filling material, using Ordinary Portland cement/ Portland Pozzolona Cement, curing including shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, etc., complete, as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. For details refer specification for Plain and Reinforced concrete (NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002). Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract.

E.g. Foundations, raft, beams, slabs, pile caps. retaining walls, dyke walls, jambs, counterforts, buttresses. pedestals, pipe sleepers, columns, suspended floors, staircases, landings, steps, brackets,trenches, culverts, manholes, pipe encasement, catchpits, drains, pits, underground tunnels and other similar UG items etc., including equipment/ machine foundations & pedestals viz. compressors, ID & FD fans, pumps, generators. crushers, mills, etc., (including single pour concreting as specified on the drawing), applying cement wash on concrete surface (wherever no other surface application is specified), providing pockets, openings, recesses, chamfering, etc., wherever required, vibrating. tamping, curing and rendering if require ed to give a smooth and even surface etc. (EXCLUDING THE COST OF REINFORCEMENT, SHUTTERING & SPECIFIED ADMIXTURES) for all depths below and upto plinth level in any shape, position and thickness etc. all complete as specified, shown and directed. Manufacturing, transporting to work Site, supplying and erecting in position Reinforced Cement Concrete PRECAST ELEMENTS such as columns, beams, cover slabs, lintels, louvers, fins, shelves etc. of M-30 grade with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregates/gravel, each unit upto and inclusive of 3000 kg. for all leads, levels, shapes and thickness including all moulds, shuttering and centering, vibrating, tamping, curing, chamfering wherever required, finishing the top surface With cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 Cement : 3 Sand) to give a smooth and even surface, or non skid finish as specified, providing lifting hooks, metal inserts, making holes pockets, (only M.S. inserts to be measured & paid separately) transporting to site, erecting, levelling, aligning and fixing in position with cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 Coarse Sand), breaking bricks and / or concrete surfaces and making good the same etc. all complete (excluding the Cost of Reinforcement ) and as directed. SHUTTERING
Providing and fixing CENTERING AND SHUTTERING Plywood Shuttering / Steel Plate Shuttering in foundations, footings, raft, beams, slabs, pile caps, retaining walls, jambs, counter-forts, buttresses, trenches, equipment/machine foundations, pedestals, abutments, pipe sleepers, culverts, drains, pipe way bridges, columns, plinth beams, lintels, suspended slabs, beams, staircases, landings, steps, noncircular tunnels / bunkers / silos / shafts / hoppers / liquid storage structures etc. for all depths below and upto & inclusive of plinth level including shuttering for single pour concreting, strutting. bracing, propping etc., keeping the same in position during Concreting and removal of the same after specific period etc. for Straight / Inclined Shuttering, keeping necessary provisions for Inserts, Projecting Dowels, Anchor Bolts or any other Fixture, tools, equipments and labour necessary for the work,etc., all complete and as specified and directed.
Providing and fixing CENTERING AND SHUTTERING Plywood Shuttering / Steel Plate Shuttering in Superstructures in Retaining Walls, Jambs, Counter-forts, Buttresses, Equipment / Machine Foundations, Abutments, Columns, Lintels, Suspended Slabs, Beams, Staircases, Landings, Steps, non-circular tunnels/bunkers/ silos/ shafts/ hoppers/liquid storage structures etc. for all heights above plinth level including shuttering for single pour concreting, strutting, bracing, propping etc., keeping the Same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period etc. for Straight / Inclined Shuttering, keeping necessary provision for inserts, projecting doweIs, anchor bolts or any other Fixture, tools, equipments and labour necessary for the work, etc. all complete and as specified and directed.
REINFORCEMENT
Supply and fixing in position TMT reinforcement bars Fe500D conforming to IS-1786 (FY=500 MPa) for RCC work including the cost of steel and cost of binding wire, carting the same to site of work, straightening, cleaning, cutting, binding with 18 SWG black soft annealed binding wire, and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers, complete for all heights and depths complete as per drawing & specification. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract. For payment reinforcement including authorized weight for spacer bars, laps, chairs etc shall be measured separately for diameter wise length actually used. Wastages & unauthorized laps shall not be considered for payment.
STRUCTURAL WORKS
Charges for straightening, cutting, cleaning, fabricating, erecting, placing in position and connecting M.S. Strl. work fabricated from rolled steel sections, plates, angles, channels, rounds, flats, RHS etc. in roof trusses, Column, beams, gantry girders, bracings, catwalk for false ceiling, platforms, pipe trestles, stairs, monorails, cleats, protection angles, brackets, hangers, purlins, tie runners, sag rods with threading, triangular frames for louvers, cable trays, rain water & other utilities pipe supports, ladders with or without cage, canopy, etc. including transport, loading and unloading as and when required, cutting, wastage, welding with welding rods (shop & site) bolting, wherever necessary including abrasive balsting and two coats of epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy paint of approved make as per master supplier list etc. complete. (Rate to include cost of bolts, nuts, washers, rolling margins, wastage etc. For payment, weight shall be worked out by multiplyng length / size of the section as per drawing with standard unit weight as per IS)
Fabricating, supplying and installing thread Anchor Bolts of specified diameter conforming to IS 2062 Grade BR as per drawings, including the cost of M.S. rounds and plates, nuts, washers , anchor plates, fine plates, stiffness, pipes sleeves etc, material as per relevant IS codes, fixing in position with necessary, tools, templates, labour etc for all heights and depths, all complete. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract.

CHEQUERED PLATE
Supplying MS chequered plate( 5 mm to 10 mm thickness), transporting, fabricating,fixing at various levels with help of supports cleat/stiffners on floors,platforms,stairs, including grinding edges & supplying all bolts, nuts, washers etc.,including necessary modification for supporting structure,drilling holes in plates and supporting structure including one coat of inorganic Zinc Silicate primer(Avg. 75 micron thickness), including forming cutouts in chequered plates and reinforcing edges by M.S.strips; providing toe plate of 50x6 mm height all along the edges,complete as per drawing, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge.

GRATINGS
Supplying, fabricating and erecting in position at all levels and locations ELECTROFORGED GRATING purchased from approved manufacturer conforming to specification TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0024 & standard no TP-1ZZZA-CV-SDD-0003 in walkways, platforms, stair landing, drains, catch basins etc. including cutting to required size, shape, making holes, notches, openings of required size, nosing, straightening if required, making the edges smooth, removing the burrs, fabricating clamps, fixing, tack welding, preparation and submission of fabrication drawings etc. all complete as specified and directed. Painting shall be as specified and wherever required, repairs of damaged surface coat after erection, complete with all tools, equipments and labour, for all depths and heights as per drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Inspection and checking shall be deemed considered. Floor Grating shall be Electroforged from mild steel Grade E250A IS:2062 and shall be minimum 25mm thk. Maximum size of voids shall be limited to 30x100 mm. Floor grating shall be hot dip galvanised in accordance with IS:2629 and tested as per IS:2633 and IS:6745. Quantity of zinc coating shall be min 120 microns (900 gm/sqm) and as per specifications. SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE.

Providing Grouting for pocket, foundation / anchor bolts, sleeves, anchors of any shape, size, for any member, including roughening, cleaning & curing, etc. complete as directed by EIC.
In Cement Mortar 1:1 with addition of grit and as directed. (Cement Grout).
With readymix anti-shrink grout as per manufacturer's specifications having strength 450kg/cm2
With Epoxy grout as per manufacturer's specifications.
BRICK MASONRY
Providing and laying BRICK MASONRY WITH BRICKS OF CLASS 1 bricks of class 7.5 confirming to IS 1077 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 Sand) in one or more brick thickness and in any shape (excluding circular/curved brick masonry) at all depths below plinth level including the cost of materials, labour, scaffolding / staging, sampling & testing, soaking of bricks, cutting and laying of bricks, providing recesses, making openings of any shape & size, finishing the joints flush below ground level and raking out the joints above ground level, sealing the gap between masonry and soffit of beam/slab, embedding the fittings & fixtures, curing, etc. all complete as per specifications. For Brickworks refer specification for Masonry works (TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0010).ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR
Providing and constructing 115mm thick partition wall and parapet at all height in cement mortar 1:4 (1 part of cement and four part of sand) including scaffolding, racking out joints, reinforcement of 2 Nos. 8mm dia bar at every 4th layer and watering etc. complete as directed. (steel shall be payable separately as per relevant item)
Same as above but for Autoclabed aerated Cement blocks of minimum density 651 to 750 with minimum compressive strength of 5.0 N/sqmm confirm to IS 2185. all complete as per specifications. ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR
PLASTERING WORK
Providing and applying smooth cement plaster with waterproofing compound of given thickness conforming to IS-2645 (as per approved per master supplier list) at all heights and below plinth in CM 1:6 to walls, beams, column, drain, bends, moulds, grooves, pattas and drip course to all brick and RCC surfaces including raking joints, scaffolding, curing finishing smooth including cost of cement, cleaning, hacking concrete surfaces, scaffolding, providing drip moulds, POINTING if required, watering, curing etc. complete for all heights, providing grooves (for 20 mm thick plaster) in plaster 12 mm wide and 12mm deep where two different material like Concrete and Brickwork are in line all complete as specified in Drawings and specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.The plaster shall be rubbed with ""Iron Plate"" till the surface shows cement paste in line level complete as directed. 12mm thick Cement Plaster without water proofing Compound using 1:6 mix mortar". For Plastering and pointing refer specification TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0005.

ROAD WORKS
Earthwork in Excavation for Road Construction
Excavation in any type of soils for all heights & depths (maximum upto 1.5m depth) and to proper levels, slopes, grades and camber as per Specifications, to arrive at the level required to prepare a Sub Grade for constructing Road including supply and provision of shoring / strutting and subsequent dismantling and removal of the same after completion of works, de-watering, de mucking, sorting out of excavated soil into serviceable and unserviceable materials, dressing, leveling, spreading, stacking the excavated material, etc. all complete including disposal until 200 m Lead as per specifications for all depths and as directed by Engineer - in-Charge. Scope shall include Cutting and Aligning the Soil as per the required Layout / Specifications and Drawings to the required Depths and Profiles. Any Extra Soil excavated shall be filled in layers of 150 mm without any additional cost.
Earthwork in Embankment / Filling for Road Construction
General Earthwork in filling using excavated earth /borrowed earth from areas within or outside the plant boundary with any lead in layers not exceeding 150 mm in thickness including watering and compacting tom 95% modified proctor density, dressing, trimming, etc all complete to arrive at the level required to prepare a Sub Grade for constructing Road as per the Alignment and Layout of Roads as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
General Earthwork in Filling using earth from within plant boundary

Preparation of Sub Grade
Preparing and Compacting the already filled up or excavated land in preparation to construct Roads by compacting using a 10 ton power roller / vibro roller including dressing, watering, confirming to the cambers, etc in order to achieve 95% compaction as per specifications, drawings and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge
Construction of Sub Grade
Providing and laying dry rubble soling, having maximum size of stone not greater than 300mm including ramming & filling the gaps with stone chips and stone dust or sand including watering, ramming & levelling and dressing the slope as per drawing and specifications.
Removal of unsuitable soil including
Removal of unsuitable soil including excavation, loading and disposal upto 500m lead but excluding compaction ground supporting embankment subgrade replacement by suitable soil, which shall be paid separately
Sub-base course (300mm THK)
Construction of granular sub-base layers spreading in 100mm THK layers, for road/paving portion, tough, sound, clean and durable including the cost of stone aggregate all royalties, taxes, handling, transportation to site, stacking the same by the side of road with all leads and lifts, spreading and laying of layer100 mm compacted thickness to proper grade, camber and level, binding the surface with murrum (0.135-0.15 cum per 10 sqm) including cost of supply of murrum, setting out, dressing to camber consolidating/compacting with 8 to 10T power road roller, watering including the required test involved, complete as per drawing, specifications, and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Base Course (225mm THK. Wet mix Macadam Base/Water Bound Macadam Course)
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to Water Bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 1 (90 to 45mm) Using crushable screening such as moorum gravel for Gr.I. By mechanical means. The item is inclusive of all leads and lifts for carriage of the aggregates
Primer Coat
Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen Emulsion (SS-1) shall be uniformly applied over the surface (WBM/WMM) using mechanical sprayers. Rate of application shall be at the rate of 20Kg per every 10m² area
Dense Bituminous Concrete (90mm THK)
Semi - Dense Bituminous Concrete Providing and laying semi dense bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5 to 5 % of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT&H specification clause No. 508 complete in all respects) (Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.)
With hydrated lime/cement as filler (refer table 500-9 of MoRT&H specification) for GradingII(10 mm nominal size)
Tack Coat
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) With Bitumen emulsion CSS-1h

Seal Coat
Providing and laying 10mm thick seal coat over DBC using bitumen layer 80/100 @ 98 kg/100 m2 of surface area and mixing with stone chips of size 6mm @ 0.92m3/100m2 of surface area as per correct grade and camber and rolling sufficiently with 8 to 10T smooth wheel roller etc, complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
Road Repair Works
Filling potholes, depressions etc. on the existing road surface with stone metal and adequately compacting with 8 to 10 ton static road roller. Allow for one tack coat (80/100 bitumen at the rate of 1 kg/m2) over the surface area of filling. Actual affected areas will be measured. (This item shall be carried out on old surface if specifically asked by the Engineer in Charge in writing)
Cleaning the existing water bound macadam road surface with the help of brooms, wire brushes gunny bags etc. and exposing the metal surface for receiving the tack coat/cement slurry also including disposal of the spoils etc. complete as per the specifications and directions of the Engineer in Charge.
Providing and laying concrete interlocking colored paver blocks 100 mm thick. Paver Blocks shall be minimum M35 grade and shall conform to IS15658:2006. Sampling and Testing Procedure strictly As Per IS 15658:2006. Laying Patterns shall be as per IRC SP-63.The paver blocks shall be laid over a well compacted sand layer of 50mm thickness. All other visual/physical & dimensional acceptance on parameters like aspect ratio, squareness etc to be as per IS-15658:2006. leveling and vibrating after laying of blocks, brooming extra sand, including edge protection, etc all complete as per specifications, sketch/ drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying and laying in position PVC pipes conforming to IS:4985 Class-I for electrical and instrumentation Road Crossings as per standard drawing , including cutting the pipes if necessary, lowering, laying in position to proper levels, etc. embedded in M-20 grade concrete including shuttering, providing proper jointing as per code requirements or manufacturer's recommendations, etc. including earth work in excavation in all types of soil except soft and hard rock, backfilling and making good the surface, including cutting of new/ existing roads and making good the same including supply of any road material if required, (Back filling with road material shall be done in 150 mm thick layers well watered and compacted), including supplying and providing in the encasement concrete, cable crossing indicator made out of 4 mm thick MS triangular plate of size 150x150 mm welded to 16 mm dia MS rod of approximately 1.5 m length and painting and lettering with 2 coats of approved enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide primer etc., supply and fixing of wire mesh 100x100x4, including disposal of surplus earth within worksite etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. (All material including cement and wire mesh etc. complete shall be supplied by Contractor).

Edge protection angles

Contractor shall take necessary approval and clearances from the concerned authorities (NRL & Local authorities) the approvals for proper disposal of water. Contractor scope shall include find the flow and plugging of inflow water in the site from any source. Contractor scope shall include decommissioning of the system.

Contractor shall take necessary approval and clearances from the concerned authorities (NRL & Local authorities) the approvals for proper disposal of water. Contractor scope shall include find the flow and plugging of inflow water in the site from any source. Contractor scope shall include decommissioning of the system.
