TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FOUR EXIM GODOWNS AND DEVELOPMENT OF CONCRETE ROADS AROUND THE EXIM GODOWNS IN CHENNAI PORT

1.01 Cutting and removing trees of girth upto 600mm (approx.) with branches using cutting machine without damaging the near by structures and cutting into pieces all as directed including removing the roots below GL, stacking the serviceable materials upto a lead of 50m and removing unserviceable material as directed including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete.

1.02. Earth work excavation / Site grading by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in all kinds of soil mixed with roots, boulders, debris, rubbish etc., by cutting the soil heaps including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, all unseviceable materials lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m as directed including all materials, labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete.

1.03 Surface dressing of the excavated ground area including removing vegetation and in-equalities not exceeding 15cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m in all kinds of soil including all labour, tools, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete.

1.04 Demolishing the existing Plain Cement Concrete manually/by mechanical means as existing at site of work to the required level, size and shape without damaging the nearby structures and wherever required all as directed and stacking of debris within a lead of 50m (for transportation and disposing) all as per relevant specification including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, transport, plants, fuel etc., complete.

1.05 Demolishing Brickwork in C.M as existing at site manually / by mechanical means without damaging the nearby structures including collecting and stacking the debris within a lead of 50m(for transportation and disposal) all as per relevant specifications and as directed including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, transport, plants, fuel etc., complete.

1.06 Earth work excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in all kinds of soil mixed with roots, boulders weighing individually less than 250kg, debris, rubbish etc., for foundations and other such works as directed including dressing of sides, ramming of bottom as per relevant specification, drawing and stacking the excavated earth within a lead of 50m for transportation/ refilling including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete. a. Lift upto 1.5 m depth

b. Lift 1.5 m to 3m depth

1.07 Dewatering by pumping the water from foundation trench and wherever required using motor as per site condition and as directed including pumping the water carefully without affecting the nearby site including all labour, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete.

1.08 Providing and laying of Plain Cement Concrete of mix 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size derived from natural sources) in volumetric proportions for levelling course in foundations / base course in basement and wherever required, curing, carriage for all leads excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, all as per relevant specification, drawing and as directed including labour, material, tools, plants, equipment, transport, fuel etc., complete. Note: The cost of centering and shuttering will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.
