REPAIR/MAINT OF CEILING FANS, EXHAUST FANS AND CONNECTED WIRING AND ACCESSORIES IN TECH AREA AT AF STN GWALIOR

Disconnecting , taking down & removing carefully the existing ceiling fan, exhaust fans, wall bracket fans and air circulating fans etc , of any description, any sweep and from any position / locations (i.e.Technical Area's OTM Accn / hangers),sealing cable end, for repairs / servicing / overhauling / painting / numbering etc and hanging / fixing the repaired fans in position after , dismantling & opening of the fans, checking serviceability of parts, overhauling by necessary cleaning, oiling & greasing , fixing the serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts, if any, with new parts, reassembling the fans, making necessary adjustment and proper alignment of blades,connecting to existing electric sources and testing at site to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing charges for new items are deemed to be included under this item. (ii) Burnt out windings replaced, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include for transportation of fans to & from workshop if required and approved by the Engineer-in-charge for necessary repairs. (iv) Remetaling of motor shaft, polishing and grinding and making to standard size to matching with GM Bush shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ (v) Writing of fan No. and painting of fans shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’/BOQ

M&L for rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of suitable existing size/gauge including insulating material and varnishing including testing to the satisfaction and all as directed by Engineer -in- Charge for the following type of fans :-

(a) Ceiling fan 1200 / 1400 mm sweep any make.

(b) Exhaust fan 300 mm / 225 mm sweep any make.

(c) Exhaust fan 375 / 450 mm sweep any make.

(d) Wall/Cabin fan 450 mm sweep any make.

(e) Pedestal fan 400 mm sweep any make.

(f) Air circulating fan of 610 mm sweep any make.

(g) Flame proof Exhaust fan 300/400 mm sweep any make.

Supply only the following spare for replacement in fan complete all as specified and directed.

(a) Bush for the ceiling fan of any make and sweep.

(b) Ball bearing for ceiling fan/wall fan/pedestal fan/exhaust fan & Cabin fan Make : NBC/SKF/TATS

(c) Rubber reel.

(d) Split pin

(e) Condenser 2.5 MFD Make : Siemens/EPCOS/Usha

M&L for servicing of in position /after taking down i.e.requried ceiling fan/exhaust fan/cabin fan (any make any size) from any building and opening the same cleaning each part, oiling and greasing including replacement of worn out parts i.e nut, bolt, screw, split pin, rubber real complete and re-fixing in the same position after repair to the entire satisfaction and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

M&L for painting of ceiling fan including fan blade of any make of any size with one coat of synthetic enamelled paint over one coat of red oxide primer after scraping old paint and preparing surface for painting and rewriting existing MES number with black paint complete to the entire satisfaction and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

Supply and fixing down rod for ceiling fan made of GI pipe 15mm dia medium grade of length 0.3 to 01 meter or as required including threading, cutting slotting drilling including nut, bolt clip washer and rubber real.
