Surface excavation not exceding 30 cm deep in hard and dense soiland averaging 15 cm deep and getting out green vegetation, roots, bushes, etc surrounding of pump house, cutting anxious green growth / vegetation growth for cleaning out the area around OH tank / pump house at ground level by cutting up root, un- wanted plants / trees bushesh and removal the same to a distance not less than 50 mtr directed by engineer -in -charge. M&L for repair of leaking joint in 80 mm bore PVC/ GI pipe line by removing existing broken fitting, rethreading of pipes and supply & fixing new PVC/ GI fitting like union/elbow/socket/tee reducer ,plug ,flange etc (ISI marked) in place of broken fitting and re-connecting of pipe, testing of joint, including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil including dewatering complete all as specified & as directed. NOTE:- (i) The job should be completed in 8 hours

Attending complaints of external water supply installation as when required / call up by this office for non functional of no water supply due to any defects or any water supply mains or defects in control valves i.e. CI Sluice valves, Non return valves, gate valves, ball valves, foot valves etc of any size laid in trenches of 80 / 100 /150 / 200 / 250 mm dia & above including leakage of CI/ GI pipe line and fittings making lead joints / flange joints/ rubber joints, excavation and refilling of trenches to make the water supply installation functional round the clock complete all as specified and as directed.Notes: - (i) Minor repair shall be carried out on spot and other major item shall be measured & paid separately. (ii) Major items replaced as "supply and fixing" under respective item of this schedule shall not be payable under this item. (iii) Adequate tradesman /supporting manpower shall be deployed by contractor and they shall be present on all working days including Saturdays and holidays from 0930 hrs to 1800 hrs for maintenance of above mentioned work. The supervisor /site Engineer of the contractor shall be forwarded detailed instructions by concerned JE every morning for attending complaints on daily basis. The persons shall be detailed by AGE/JE concerned every morning for attending complaints on daily basis,with taking siganure of JE in Complaint slip. (iv) The complaints received before 1300 hrs shall be attended on same day. The complaints received after 1400 hrs shall be attended on the next working day before 1300 hrs. If complaints shall not attended as per schedule, a penalty of Rs. 1000/- shall be imposed on contractor for each complaint for each day. (v) Any delay in non-completion of complaints shall immediately be communicated to AGE/JE.
