The rate of bitumen emulsion exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of viscosity grade VG 10(80/100) conforming IS:73 including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing Runway/ road surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of VG-10 exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment a) 0.35 kg/Sqm on existing bituminous surface
Filling the sub surface drain in runway with stone aggregate of Size D10 = 50mm size and consolidating to the required depth of minimum 1.00m, all as per the directions and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The gradation requirement for the aggregates is mentioned in Technical Specification) The rate is including filling with aggregate, consolidating and Disposal of unserviceable material within airport premises with all lift and leadsetc.complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying Non woven Geotextile of approved make to prevent ingress of soil, all as per approved drawings and as per technical specifications. Material should confirm to detailed specifications and drawings as attached.
Providing and placing ISI mark Semi Perforated PVC pipes of outer diameter 200mm for drainage behind the reinforced soil walls. Specification of perforation is as below ( dia of holes = 5-6 mm, Spacing of holes = 25-30mm, Pipe thickness =8-10mm).

Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995. in expansion/ construction/dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in-Charge & particular specifications. i) Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30 mm dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturers specifications and sketch at Appendix A. [Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (Length x Width x Depth) of Polysulphide sealant only will be measured.]

The box shall have a clear hole at one side surface centre at 75mm above bottom surface and suitable to receive 50mm dia B class GI/ HDPE pipe check nuts and also have clear hole on side surfaces from centre at 175mm above bottom suitable to receive 15mm dia B class G.I pipe and check nuts. Installation, testing and commissioning of inset type Runway edge light fittings in the bitumen/ concrete surface using core cutting machine and departmentally supplied Dobefil 60 compound & Hardener 758, installation and aligning of inset fitting using suitable jig, closing of shallow base with sealant material, connecting with secondary leads, providing Insulation tape etc. as required.
Installation of cylindrical type C.I. transformer housing box in bituminious/concrete surface with a base concrete of 1:3:6 ( 1:cement, 3:coarse sand, 6:concrete of 20 mm nominal size) of size 630x630x100mm thick and concrete of 1:2:4 ( 1: cement, 2 : coarse sand, 4 : concrete of 20mm nominal size) at base and all around the CI box of 150 mm thick and a pedestral concrete of 1 mtr x 1 mtr near the ground level at a depth of 20 cm with suitable coping at top with required manpower, tools etc., including cutting bituminous/concrete, excavating soil, aligning the boxes, complete as required.
Supply and fixing of MS base plates of 10mm thick, 330 mm dia provided with 6 nos holes for M-10 SS bolts, for covering the CI transformer housing box including providing gaskets, and SS bolts etc. complete as required.
Dismantling of the existing runway/ turning pad/taxiway edge light fittings including disconnecting the isolating transformers and series cable, shifting the dismantled items to store/ new location etc. as required .
Fixing of following Cylindrical type Cast Iron adaptor box above existing Cylidrical type Cast iron box of 330mm dia. using 6 Nos.
