repairs and general servicing to 5-ton capacity over- head crane at WSS Tangnar Stage-I

Servicing of the 5-ton capacity Overhead Crane by way of disconnecting the power supply to the electric motors of the crane and carrying out mechanical servicing of the gantry which includes cleaning and greasing of all the moving parts. The job also includes tightening of all the nuts and bolts and replacement of damaged nuts and bolts of the gantry. The job also includes tightening of all the nuts and bolts of the sling rope drum and replacement of damaged U-clamps. The job also includes checking of the sling rope from any kind of damage or any entanglement. The job further includes checking of any kind of damages to supporting guy wire and supports/locks of power cable. Load testing of the over- head crane is also included in the job.

Providing and fitting of 3 feet long 65x65x5 mm ISA member on the travelling crane for fitting of GI guy wire.The job includes welding of the member with the overhead travelling crane using electric arc welding.The job has to be carried out at the height of 25 ft above MFL.Theagecny has to provide safety gears to his staff during the repairs work of the crane so as to avoid eventuality during the work.

Providing/fitting of 10 sq.mm three core copper cable.The cable is to be fitted to the motor of the over-head crane.

Providing/fitting of GI guy wire(30 m) with the vertical ISA members so as to act as guiding wire for power cable of the motor of OHT crane
