Strengthening of Roads Including Upgradation of Storm Water Drains, Management of Utilities and Landscaping Works at OIDC s Industrial Estate at Somnath, Daman (Rigid Pavement) (4th Call).

A) Road Works:- Dismantaling of tiled of stone floors laid in mortar including stacking of servicible materials and disposal of materials with all lead and lift - Existing Footpath, including all labour charges etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Demolition and disposal of materials with all lead and lift (i) RCC Work, including all labour charges etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation grass bushes,shrubs,sapling and trees girth up to 300 mm removal of stumps of trees cut, including all labour charges etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Earthwork in cuting in all sorts of soil and soft murrum including conveying and spreading the stuff, embankment as and where directed within work site with all required lead and lift. and disposal of unused materials with all lead and lift within Daman District etc. complete as directed by EIC. (A) All types of Soil

Rolling and consolidation of soling including filling in depression which occur during the process, with power roler 8 tonne to 12 tonne etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Construction of subgrade :- Earthwork for embankment/subgrade including breaking clods, dressing with all lead and lift and including watering rolling and consolidation of ubgrade in layers at O.M.C. to required dry density including filling the depression which occur during the process using power roller 8T to 10T, necessary royalty charges to be paid by agency if required (E) From Borrow area as approved by EIC all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Granual sub base- Plant Mix Method (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting 200 mm thk. graded stone aggregate material in sub base course including mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC , carriage of mix material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader for sub base including spreading of stone dust to fill up voids on the surface and watering compacting with vibratory roller to achieve CBR value not less than 30 as per MORTH and the desired density (as per designed mix determined density) including all materials, labour, machinery.etc completed as per clause 401 ) - Grading II 1st & 2nd Layer, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

DLC : Construction of Dry Lean Cement, Concrete Sub-base over a prepared base with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/cum without fly ash, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a a fully automatic ready mix plant (RMC), transported to site, laid with a paver, compacting with 8-10 tonnes vibratory roller, finishing to lines and level, curing etc. all complete as per drawing & specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (All materials, mix design and RMC plant must got approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to commence the work).

PQC M40 concrete:- Providing and laying in position Pavement Quality Controlled Concrete of M-40 grade, for the mix design of PQC concrete IRC:44 shall be referred, using cement content as per design mix- OPC 53 Grade cement-maximum cement content shall not exceed 450 kg/m3 of concrete and fly ash shall not used in concrete, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate, maximum size of coarse aggregate shall be as per IRC:44, adding admixtures and adding polyester fiber (6 mm) of triangular cross section having tensile strength of 4000 to 6000 kg/cm2 like Recron 3S or equivalent fiber by using 125 gms fiber per 50 kgs cement used as per the design mix of the specified workability, Cement concrete manufactured in automatic batching plant (RMC plant) from standered cement manufactrurer like Ultra tech, Ambuja & ACC transportation to site in transit mixer, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using Concrete Paver CD 255 with min Engine Capacity of 60 Hp, Hydraulic Driven 3 Full Width Tubes ( 14 ~ 22 Ft ) for Screeding, Augering excess Mix, Consolidation and Final Roller Compaction with variable RPM for Forward / Reverse, coupled with Hydraulic frame mounted Gang Vibrators min. 58 mm Dia of max. 600 mm distance apart with variable Vibration and Immersion depths controlled by Operator Console & Sensor mounted to detect Grade and Variation of Channel alignment of +/- 3 min variation and alarm sounded for variation detected. The Paver must be capable of addressing depth of min 75 mm to 500 mm and balanced by water ballast filled tube for even weight distribution across Paver width, including providing Separation membrane shall be impermeable Polyethylene sheet 150 micron thick as per IS:2508, transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases, the separation membrane may be nailed to the lower layer with concrete nails, including cost for provision of contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints by groove cutting machine (groove cut depth and width shall be as per IRC:15) as per drawing and including cost for sealing all the joint by Poly sulphide sealent and debonding tape as specified in IRC:15 chapter no.8, curing by ponding of water for min. period of 21 days, including fixing Dowel bars and Tie bars as per drawing with use of cradles/chairs (cost of Dowels/tie bars/cradle chairs shall be paid extra in separate item) all complete including all materials, labour, machinery, formwork with all leads and lifts etc. as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
