2.2) Earth work in rough excavation, banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with ½ tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks or filling up ground depressions, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m :

2.2.1) All Kind of Soil

2.8) Earthwork in all kinds of soil in foundation, trenches or drains not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift up to 1.5m including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus earth as directed within a lead of 50m. Disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed.

4.1.5) 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

4.1.8) 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

4.4) Providing and laying cement concrete in kerbs, steps and the like at or near ground level excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing.

4.4.1) 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

5.1) Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete as per following excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE / ISSUE POINT)

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

5.9) Providing and fixing, centering and shuttering including curved, hexagonal and such other shaped shuttering for following as directed including strutting, bracing, propping etc. keeping the same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period etc. complete for all depths and heights.

5.1.9) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc up to plinth.

5.22.3) Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming IS:1786 for R.C.C. work at all height and depths, carting the same from store / issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, bending to required shape and lengths as per details, including supplying and binding with contractor's own 16 SWG soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused / scrap / unserviceable steel to owner's storagepointetc.allcomplete. 7.1) Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with : (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE / ISSUE POINT)

7.1.1) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

13.2.2) Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 (1cement: 6sand) on the rough sides of single or half brick wall or masonary work using approved type sand including curing etc. all complete for all heights.( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE )

13.61.1) Painting two or more coats with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture in all shades on all types of surface like steel/wood/concrete/plaster/for lettering etc. all complete up to the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

15.9) Demolishing stone rubble masonry manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

15.9.2) In cement mortar

16.1) Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead upto 50 metres.

16.4) Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specified sizes to WBM specifications in uniform thickness, hand picking, rolling with 3 wheeled road / vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density .

16.3) Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications : (BITUMEN SHALL BE PROCURED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN COST)

16.30.1) On W.B.M. @ 0.75 Kg / sqm

16.34) 40 mm. premix carpet surfacing with 4.8 cum of stone chippings 11.2 mm nominal size per 100 sqm and bitumen emulsion (medium setting min. 65% bitumen content) complying with IS : 8887, using 96 kg per cum of chippings, including consolidation with road roller of 6 to 9 tonne capacity etc. complete. (BITUMEN SHALL BE PROCURED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN COST)

16.4) Providing and laying 6 mm average thckness with seal coat of premixed fine aggregate (passing 2.36 mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with bitumen using 128 kg of bitumen of grade VG - 10 bitumen per cum of fine aggregate and 0.60 cum of fine aggregate per 100 sqm of road surface, including rolling and finishing with road roller all complete. (BITUMEN SHALL BE PROCURED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN COST)

16.68) Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M -30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

19.35) Providing and laying Non Pressure NP-3 class (Medium duty) R.C.C. pipes including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete

19.35.5) 1200 mm dia RCC pipes. (Laying by mannual / machenical means)
