(ii) Taking out damaged/ unserviceable pipe after removing from rubber tyton joint/burning out lead joints at both ends & replacing new 300 mm dia DI pipe line in lieu of existing in to trenches using machinary / labour as required complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Transportation of DI pipe / fittings of size 300 mm dia to work site and cutting the pipe to required length to suit site conditions. (iv) Jointing pipe by using rubber tyton rings 300mm dia to the corresponding socket and spigot ends of the existing pipe line after aligning the pipe line as per site condition, inserting the CI collar of size 300dia, complete all as directed. (v) Making run lead joints in CI collar 300 mm dia or in any other specials of any size and any type, caulking of joints and testing for leakages if any, complete all as specified and as directed.. (vi) Returning filling in including removal of surplus mud/excavated materials with the help of earthmoving machinery (Hitachi), complete all as specified and as directed.
