Bamboo Pile Walling made of 6.5cm to 7.5cm dia bamboo (in single line) driven about half-length into ground at very close spacing of 30cm c/c side by side, with stout stays at an interval of 90cm fixed with bamboo post of length 1.25m driven 1m below G.L., 3 nos. of half split bamboo runner of same dia fitted and fixed with nails etc. and lining exposed portion with sheets made from cut drums (empty bitumen drums) fitted and fixed with a lap width of 100 mm at each joint, complete as per direction including the cost of drum sheets and including the cost of nails, wires etc. With bamboos of length above 2.50m and upto 3.00m.

Taking out bamboo wailing pieces after removing iron nails and stacking the same within 150 metre from the site of work. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition.

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.

Placing / laying, stone / brick aggregates filled gunny / poly bags on the slope of the bank of the river / sea or the slope of the embankment or in the river bed with all leads etc. complete.

Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity)

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) With carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius of 1 km. including cost of carried earth.
