Name of Structure- Naturally Ventilated Polyhouse (Tubular Structure) for 160 Sqm Size. Length = Multiples of 8Metre+4 Met Example. 8X2+4:8X3+4 etc (length is side along the gable or side along truss lines) Width = Multiples of 4 Meter Example. 4X2:4X3 (Width is side along the gutter or side along the purlin lines) Standard approx. Sizes being adoped are, (Bid is asked for these one size) 160 Sq. Mtr (20mX8m) Bay Size - 8.0m x 4.0m approx. Rider Height - 6.0m, 5.0m in case of less than 200 sq m size. Ridge Vent - 80-90 cm opening fixed with 40 mesh nylon insect screen. Gutter Height - 4m from ground level, 3m in case of less than 200 sq m size. Gutter Slope - 2% slop need be provided in civil foundation work/structure. Gutter material - 1.2mm thick GI sheet with perimeter of minimum 500mm. Structure design- The structure design need to be sound enough to withstand wing speed minimum 120Km/hr and minimum load of 30kg/m². The design should be aero dynamic along all four sides with curvature shaped balcony pipes of 60 mm OD/2mm thick GI Pipes. Structure - Complete structure made of galvanized sheet tubular popes or equivalent selection having wall thickness 2mm-0.2mm. Structure member should be joined with fasteners properly. Hot Dip Galvanized structure. Structural member with galvanized materials only and should be joined with fastners properly. Size of structural Members - Columns (60mm for PNH less then 200 sq. Met Sizes: 76 mm (minimum) for sizes more then 200 Sq met & 84 mm (minimum) for sizes more than 330 Sq Met) Top Purlins Gutter Purlins Top Arches fo the truss Bottom Chord of the truss Internal Bracings of the truss Corridors/Balconies Curtains Runner Flap Control Pipe Curtain Shaft Wielded pipes should not be used any where in the poly house Foundation Pit Size should be min 450 mm dia. Depth should be 750 to 900 mm or suitably altered depending on ground strata/level so as to ensure safety and stability of the structure even under extreme wind conditions. Columns are fitted over ground ”Inserts’’ and bolted to Insert Pipe of 60mm OD/3mm GI Pipe. Length of Insert 1200 to 1300mm and pit filing with 1254 concrete hand mixed with Appropriate cement. Fasteners All nuts and bolts must be galvanized with a minimum coat of 120 GSM. Entrance Room & Door Double door Entry, Doors should be made from FRP sheet of Poly Carbonate Sheets, Opening of both doors is hinged. One entrance Room of size 2.5m x 2.5m x 4m (L x W x H) noed to be Provided and covered with 200 micron UV Stabilized transparent plastic film. The door area should have 50mm PCC flooring and should have good drainage facility. No water logging.

Cladding material - UV Stabilized 200 micron transparent plastics films multi layer coextruted anti drip/mist, anti dust, diffused, IR cooling having minimum 85% level of light transmittance conforming Indian Standards. Fixing of cladding material - All ends/joints of plastic film need to be fixed with two way G.I Profiles with suitable locking arrangement along with curtain top Batons or PVC grippers need not be used. Spring Insert - Zigzag high carbon steel with spring action wire of 2-3 mm diameter must be inserted to fix poly sheet into G.I Profile. Curtain Wall/side appron - UV. Stabilized 200 micron transparent palstic films multi-layer/UV stabilized HDPE woven fabric, 100 GSM thick for a height of cm horizontally. (HDPE woven fabric of 100 GSM will have more stability and with stand the pressure of upward as well as horizontal wind better than the polythene film. Side Ventilator - Roll up UV Stabilized 200 micron transparent plastic film as curtains need be provided up to 2.0 m to 3.0m height on all side 40 mesh nylon inset proof nets (UV Stabilized) of equivalent size need to be fixed inside the curtains. Anti-flapping strips/rope is suggested to ensured smooth functioning of the curtain. Roof Screen - UV stabilized 35% sanding net has to be provided horizontally at gutter height, below the UV poly sheet inside the Green house with manually operated mechanism for expanding and retracting.

Irrigation system - Drip Irrigation system & fogging for the poly house internal should be provided by the vendor for 160 sqm.
