Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD 2014 technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus un-useful material to acquired width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/or labour if required. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads lifts and other incidentals. Recovery of useful stone for 1605.95 cum (One thousand six hundred five point nine five cubic metre) shall be made on prorata basis @ Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only) per cubic metre. In each running bill for this item. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 305 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying plain concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundations complete as per drawings nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded crushed stone) aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size including cost of form work and curing complete with out plum as per HP:PWD., specification complete in all respect including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutment ,wing walls and return walls complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1204.3.8 granular material and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing weep holes in brick/stone masonry/ plain/ reinforced concrete abutment, wing walls, return walls, retaining walls and breast wall with 100mm( one hundred millimetre) dia PVC pipe finolex having pressure not less than 4kg.per centimetre square. (four kilograme per centimetre square) extending through the full width of the structures with slopes of I(V): 20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 as per direction of Engineer- in -Charge, including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete for plain/ reinforced concrete in open foundation/sub structure for all type of structure complete of plain cement concrete M-15 (M-fifteen) design mix minimum cement content 240kg/Cum (two hundred forty kilograme/cubic metre) on ground or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/ depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 802.803.1202 and 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain concrete in open foundation for all type of structure complete of plain cement concrete M-10 (M-ten) design mix or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/ depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802.803.1202 and 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying ( to level and slopes )900mm dia (nine hundred millimetre dia metre) reinforced cement concrete non pressure pipe I.S. class N.P.2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collars with cement mortar 1:2(one cement: two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1101 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP:PWD., specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etcetra with earth or quarry soil etcetra and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP:PWD., specifications and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of size 90mm to 45mm(ninety millimetre to forty five millimetre) Grading-I 100mm ( hundred millimetre) consolidated thick to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN (eighty to hundred) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening 13.2 (thirteen decimal two millimetre) nominal size at the rate 0.27 cum (zero decimal two seven cubic metre) and binding material at the rate 0.08 cum (zero decimal zero eight cubic metre) per 10sqm.(ten square metre) to fill up the interstices of course aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density of grade-I as per MORD technical specification clause 405 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying priming coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70-1.00 kilogram (zero point seven zero to one point zero kilogram) per square metre using mechanical means as per MORD technical specification clause –502 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg.( zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram) per square metre on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per MORD technical specification clause 503 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm(Twenty millimetre) compacted thickness composed of Type –A 13.2mm (thirteen point two millimetre ) to 5.6mm ( five point six millimetre) aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cum ( zero point two seven cubic metre) mixed with VG-30 bitumen at the rate of 14.6kg. ( fourteen point six kilogram) per ten square metre of road surface to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in a suitable plant, laying with paver finisher and rolling with a three wheel 80-100KN static capacity road roller finished to required level and grade to be followed by seal coat as per MORD technical specification clause 506 including carriage of material with in all lead and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge . The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in bituminous surface laid to specified levels grade and cross fall using type-B as per MORD technical specification clause 508 VG-30 bitumen at the rate of 6.8 kg. ( six point eight kilogram) premix with 0.06cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) of fine aggregate per 10 sqm. (per ten square metre ) heated in mini hot mix plant and laying mechanically of mixed material and rolling with power road roller 80-100 kN ( eighty to hundred kilo newton ) capacity as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material with in all leads and lift and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of road side V-shape drain of plain cement concrete M-10 (M-ten) (design mix) 10cm (ten centimetre) thick concrete and of 45x25cm (forty five into twenty five centimetre) size in accordance with the requirement of specification true to lines and grades dimensions and other particulars as per drawing and technical specification clause 1600,700,300 & 800 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of parapets with cement concrete 1:5:10 ( one cement : five sand : ten graded stone aggregate 40mm ( forty millimetre) nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work with steel plates and two number empty bitumen drums properly fixed at site and filled with earth/boulder laid in dressiest and the 10cm.(ten centimetre) consisting top with 1:3:6 (one cement: three sand: six crushed stone aggregate) as per drawing and HP:PWD., technical specification clause 800 & 1200 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Routine maintenance for five years after completion of construction work as per item and condition of bid document of contract to general condition of contract and technical specification of MoRD including haulagecarriage of all labour transport and material to various location through all modes of transportations with in all leads lifts and other incidentals.
