Preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bages or mechanical means to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1.00 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/VVBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 75 mm Compacted thickness conforming to Clause 504 of MORTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 4% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 4% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MORTH specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MORTH specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant (Batch Type) of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per clause No 505.3.3 of MORTH specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MORTH specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii)The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula from lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of filler i.e rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate. (iv) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MORTH specifications entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8 -10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smoooth wheeled tandem roller as per clause No 507.4.8 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply & fixing in repair cats eye white/yellow colour of ABS plastic metal with two Nos of red reflectors including fixing with approved adhesive /fastener on road as in repairs including taking down of existing one all as specified and directed

Material and labour for Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on roads pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow with glass beads complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing ABS speed breakers/ Rubber rumbler 350x50x250mm, including fixing nails/screws/polymer and surface dressing for even and levelled surface as in repairs including taking down of exisitng one of all specified and directed

Surface Excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in Soft/ Loose soil all specified and directed

Material and labour for PCC 75mm thick cement concrete type D- 2, 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded aggregate broken stone) as in sub base all as specified and as directed

Material and labour Hard core of gauge exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15cm thick, watered and rolled/ rammed to a true surface all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with Grey Cement and pigment of any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-35 Grade laid over 25 mm thick sand cushioning spread & compacted over base complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing Excavated materials not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and as directed

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm) including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.
