Disconnecting the electrical connections from LT panel board, taking out from sump well 40 HP electric motor pump set non clogging self priming 100x125 mm size Horizontal/ vertical type disconnecting input and output sewage connections by manual/mech arrangements, dismantling the motor and carrying to workshop for repair and carrying back the after repair, reconnecting with pump set, fixing on foundation in sump well and testing, commissioning to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Including taking out pumping set from sump well and lowering the same after repair.)

Rewinding the electric induction motor 3 phase 400/415 Volts 40 HP, 50 C/S by opening the same carefully removing all windings and cleaning the slots properly and rewinding the same with copper binding wire of existing gauge including providing paper insulation sheets, bamboo sticks and applying two coats of varnish for proper insulation, reassembling the motor, testing and commissioning of motor on full load to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge complete. Note: (i) Unit rates also include taking out motor, dismantling and lowering after repair. (ii) Ball bearing, cooling fan if required to be replaced shall be measured & paid separately.

Earthing with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x 6.3mm thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 4.5 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 3.75 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead GI strip 32x6mm thick by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel with protection pipe of GI, medium grade 40mm bore upto adequate length, watering pipe 20mm bore of GI medium grade, earth plate surrounded by picked layer of coal dust and common salt 15 cm thick all as per electrical plate No 5 of SSR of SSR -2009 Part I & including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil. Taking down gear of Aerator unit with flaps of plant aeration motors & carrying to workshop for repair, servicing the gear unit and flaps and replacement of any spares as deemed necessary for proper working of gear units in filling gear oil upto marked level refixing the gear unit with motor and testing all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint to suction pipe, discharge line, pump, motor with frame and all type of fixture i.e sluice valve, non return valve etc as installed at sewage installation No. 5, 6, 7,11, 12, 13, 14 & 15 after preparation of surface including marking the direction of flow of Sewage, complete using colour code as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint to DG set 160/62.5 KVA complete with spray painting complete all specified & directed.

Applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint to Aerator motor with gear including gear boxes along with connected equipments complete using spray painting system complete all directed.

Writing letters or figures (Block. Roman, Italic or Indian) n exc. 30 cm high with synthetic enamel paint on installation boards, pumps etc fixed at sewage installations according to design, pattern etc as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

MS Work as in sign boards, valve pit cover, ventilators for sump well etc using PBI sheet, frames of angle iron or other section incl all necessary cutting, welding or drilling holes for fixing sheet complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing new or previously untreated surfaces of steel or iron work of any description and girth over 10cm and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer incharge.

Material & labour for fixing, jointing and testing Spun cast iron soil, waste and vent pipes 100mm dia, in any length with or without ears, with cement joints fixed to walls as in sump after taking out of old broken CI pipe complete all as specified & directed.

Cleaning the sewage sump wells, septic tanks of any size, depth and in any location by taking out complete sludge water and solids of any description, mechanically by HCV mounted suction discharge machine having blow back facility with sludge tank of adequate capacity removing & disposing the entire retrieved material to a distance not exceeding 1000 meter outside the periphery of defence land and covering the entire sludge with local earth complete all as directed by the engineer-in-charge. Note: Depth of sludge in the pit shall be measured from bottom of pit to the existing water/affluent level prior to ordering the cleaning in the presence of EIC.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of cable in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Return filling in approved soil,, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm thick each complete all as specified and directed. (Surplus soil if any shall not be removed but left protrude over the trench as directed by Engr-in-Charge)

Sub class ‘B’ old size bricks laid adjacent to each other perpendicular to the direction of cable in trenches for protection of cable all as specified.

Clean dry sand laid in trenches/ducts for bedding and cushioning to cable, including spreading and levelling complete, all as specified and directed. Note:-(i) Consolidated/punned sand shall be considered for the purpose of payment.(ii) Sand shall be same as specified for plastering work.
