Paint application should be done during dry weather. The minimum time to be provided between applications of next coat i.e. 08 hrs. To scrap welded area with water to make it free from slag and other water soluble compounds. Extracting of elastic rail clips and other works should be as per guidance of SSE (P/Way) in charge or his supervisor at site, seized ERC elastic rail clips, if any, to be extracted by using approved chemicals and/or heating the MCI inserts by any suitable means and without damaging PRC sleepers, fittings rails and complete. Epoxy paint or polyurethane paint of approved quality for painting MCI inserts to be supplied by contractor and no extra payment will be made for the same. Cost of sleeper damaged, if any while extracting seized ERCs to be borne by the agency along with cost of its renewal. The work includes carrying by any means new ERCs, liners and GR pad, etc. from SSE (P/Way)'s store and return back all released fittings, etc. to SSE (P/Way)'s store all complete."

"Deep Screening of derailing switch layout by Set providing clean cushion of 30cm under rail seat below the sleeper at the centre of track by first deep screening upto the bottom of available cacked up cushion (i.e., upto formation level) and sufficient lifiting if reqiured and as needed to bring the track to designed longitudinal level. The rate also includes opening of ballast, digging below, and in between and by the side og 60 kg/52kg of pts & X-ing of deralling switches sleeper to 1m beyond the edge of sleeper on either side screening the same by 20mm screen,hunch,cleaning providing a formation caber of 1 in 30 the cleaning ballast should be separated from the muck and put back in to the track.the muck should be disposed off as per direction of engineer in-charge or his representatie at site where no payment will be made for lead upto 100m. The muck shall be used for both cess and slope repairs whenever and wherever required,the track shoud be packed with screened ballast and brought to desired ballast to the desire profile level and aligment and as per level sheet jointly signed by contractor and engineer in- charge and to make the track fit after doing necessary kutcha packing for passing trains at a speed 20 kmph. Adjustment of alligment and levelling shall be done so as to achive the standard parameters. The rate also is to include the dressing of ballast in proper profile as per direction of PWI at site."
Overhauling of LC Gate to provide clean Per cushion upto 300mm by digging below the Track "sleeper & removing ballasted muck /earth Metre for a total width upto 4.8 m. Ballast should be separated from the muck and put back at proper long level and to make the LC Gate track fit for normal traffic.The rate includes opening of check rail, fixing of rubber pad and refixing the check rail etc. The rate is inclusive of opening and setting of concrete blocks etc during packing of tracks (2-3 rounds) for relaxation of speed."
