REPAIR, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF SEWAGE LINE, MANHOLE, SEPTIC TANK INCLUDING PLUMBING AND TOILET AT DOMESTIC AREA UNDER GE (AF) HASIMARA

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I De-watering/bailing out of contaminated/sewage water including other foreign materials from septic tanks/manholes/soakage wells of any dia and depth by mechanical means using monoblock/sewage pump etc after plugging of incoming sewage lines and throwing/removing contaminated/sewage water into low laying non-residential area or into open drains/Nallah and spreading un-slacked lime to disinfect the area cleaned, complete all as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Taking out/Bailing out the sludge / semi solid materials including other foreign materials from septic tanks / manholes of various sizes and depths upto 1.5m as required by manually or by pumping with suitable pumping machinery and taking out sludge/ semi solid materials / any other foreign materials from septic tanks etc and removing the sludge within 50 m distance and deposited in a pit to be excavated and covered with two layers of bamboo mating and earth filling upto 30cm depth of pit including removing and refixing of manhole covers as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. (Note: (i) The cost of Excavation and earth work for pit, bamboo matting, temporary barricade of the pit and providing sufficient bleaching powder shall deem to be included in the unit quoted rate (ii) Hiring charges and cost of fuel for sewage pump shall deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid in thism account)

Cleaning of blockage in sewage lines / drain pipes of internal dia 100mm/150mm/200mm by rodding or by any other suitable means and cleaning the entire line and well flushing between the manholes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Cleaning of blocked WC's and soil pipes of any dia up to first manhole by rodding or by any other means and well flushing with water the entire line after cleaning complete all as directed by Engineer - in - Charge..

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 round section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150 mm bore of pipe complete all as specifieed and directed.

Surface excavation n. exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exc. 1.5 metre wide and exc. 1.5 metre & not exc. 3 metre depth (beyond the first 1.5 metre) for foundation of poles etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas, n.exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas, exc 1.5 m and n.exc 3.0m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking 100mm bore drain pipes (SGSW/AC/RCC) set in cement mortar including cement concrete bedding and removal of debris/rubbles etc to a distance n.exc 50m complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Necessary axcavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately)

Demolition and breaking up to 150mm bore drain pipes (SGSW/AC/RCC) set in cement mortar including cement concrete bedding and removal of debris/rubbles etc to a distance n.exc 50m complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Necessary axcavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately)

M & L for Salt glazed stone ware drain pipes 100 mm bore, grade 'A' laid in trenches, jointed and tested complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 17 above but except pipe complete ditto. (Note: Old serviceable pipe as obtained from demolition shall be re-used)

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick, Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in footpath/flooring, etc and finished the surface even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 25 mm thick, plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base of flooring, etc and finished the surface even and rough complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggragate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 150 mm bore SGSW/RCC drain pipes complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggragate) as in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 100 mm bore SGSW drain pipes complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0, (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in benching, coping, etc incuding necessary form works etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Precast Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slab of drain, etc and set in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary form, moulds, etc including demolition of unserviceable reinforced concrete and removing the rubbish from site of work complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately)

S & F TMT steel bars 10 mm dia., and over cut to length, bend to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips quality complete all as specified and directed.

S & F TMT steel bars 6mm to 8mm dia., and over cut to length, bend to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips quality complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in two coats (10mm+5mm each) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4, mixed with integral water proofing compound with weight of cement in top layer as per manufacturer's instructions and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (Note : WPC shall be measured and paid separately against respective item).

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc stacking the serviceable bricks after removing mortar and cleaning for re-use and disposal of debris and rubbish to a distance n.exc 100m as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 using old size bricks as in manholes, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Glazed, ceramic, coloured tiles of size 300mm x 200mm x 6-7mm thick, on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc, including 10 mm thick bedding in cement mortor 1:4 and set & jointed in neat cement slurry & pointed in white or coloured cement to match with the shade of tiles including dismantling of damaged unserviceable tiles complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs, vitreous China squatting pan, 'Orissa' pattern, size 580 x 440 mm white with integral foot rest and 'P' or 'S' trap, including provision of lime concrete bedding, connection to trap and flushing pipe etc complete including making good to disturbed surfaces of floor to match with existing specifications complete all as specified and directed.
