REPAIR TO WOODEN AND STEEL FURNITURE OF OFFRS MD ACCN AT TARAPORE ENCLAVE UNDER BSO GE (SOUTH) DELHI CANTT

Notes for Ser No 2.00 to 23.00 :- (a) Removal of above existing unserviceable wooden/steel components of various MES F/DB/FD/MAP furniture items or similar items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, weldings, nailing, wedging, glueing, providing hinges, placing everypart in-tact the disturbed portion, as applicable as per drgs and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different DUs of Tarapore Enclave Delhi Cantt including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (c) Timber shall be of 2nd Class Hard wood (teak) seasoned & Steels sections/sheet will will be CRCA sheet for repair/replacement of steel furniture.

S&F of various parts made out of MDF Board 18mm thick both side laminated with one side teak shade and other side white for wooden and steel furniture of approved quality. The exposed edges all around shall be provided 4mm x 18mm teak wood beading. All cutting and joining works including fabrication of parts in repairs shall be with proper worksmanship. All repairs shall be included dismantling old damaged parts and replacing the new parts along with other maintenece materials like wood adhesive, nails, bamboo pins if required, steel screws, wooden beading etc., complete all shown on drg.
