Supply and laying dry coarse sand as in cushioning of under ground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 Cm (15 Cm under the cable & 8 Cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 Cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Thickness after punning down shall be measured for payment.

Supply and laying in trenches Bricks, sub class 'B' over burnt (kiln burnt) old size bricks, laid flat dry with width of the bricks laid to the axis of the cable for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out unserviceable UG cables of any type and any sizes from trenches etc and removing from the site of work complete all as specified and directed.
