REPAIR TO GRASS CUTTING OF SHOULDERS OF MAIN RUNWAY AND TAXI TRACK, CLEANING OF MONSOON DRAIN AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT AFS KALAIKUNDA UNDER GE (AF) KALAIKUNDA

Scraping of grass/wild growth etc by manually on the shoulders of main Runway/taxi track including all around the runway light, etc, including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc, 250m but n. exc 500m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed Note: (i) cutting/scraping of grass/wild growth, etc, growth around the runway light (where ever require) shall be carried once in a month or as directed by engineer in charge and each cutting/scraping shall be measured and paid for separately.

Scraping of grass/wild growth etc by using grass cutting machine around the runway light, etc, including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance exc, 250m but n. exc 500m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of monsoon drains 1.50m in depth (average) as ordered including taking out accumulated silts, sand, muds, etc. from bottom of drains, removal of all types of organic materials, silts, sand, muds, grass etc. from bottom and sides of the drains etc. to a distance of exc. 250m but not exc 500m, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Ploughing and Loosening of sand layer by using Mechanical Tractor including raising (or lowering) to required size and shape for the area approx 4182.00 Sqm (Size 91.5m x 22.85m x 2 Nos) as directed.Note: (i) Ploughing and Loosening shall be carried out at the minimum interval of 15 days or as directed. (ii) One job inclusive minimum 5 to 6 hrs ploughing with mechanical tractor.

M & L for Cutting grass mechanically operated or slasher where ever required including removing material obtained from cutting/cleaning both side of shoulders and thrown upto 5kms away from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charges Note: (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher (set of 01 tractor & 01 jungle jim) with POL and MT driver. (ii) Work will be carried out on non flying day / non flying hours only as per direction of Engr-in-Charge) No claim will be entertained due to any loss of working hours. (iii) When the run is not a full hour or in multiplies of an hour but involves a fraction of an hour the amount payable for that fraction shall be proportional to the number of quarter hours involved. (ii) The UNIT RATES of Item of Work will be inclusive of all the other charges for the machineries including registration charges, Road tax, Insurance charges, maintenance charges, cost of fuel, lubricants, salary of driver, washing charges, any repairing/replacement of spare parts charges and various other taxes & levies, if applicable, fines, etc. (iii) Reporting duty place is Air Field Area under GE (Air Force) Kalaikunnda. There will be no dead hour/mileage. The hour age for the purpose of "vehicle run" and "hours of duty" shall be reckoned from the starting of the job to finishing of the Job. No hour will be considered for lunch/breakfast/dinner/garaging or for drawl of diesel etc. Contractor shall be quote accordingly
