Epoxy Polyeurethane Coating (EPU) (a) Preapre the dry concrete surface using proper scarification equipment to remove any loose material, contaminations and laitance to provide a sound, gripping surface, clean the entire floor area to a dry state. Inspect the surface for any cracks if any, have to be sealed with epoxy repair mortar by cutting ‘V’ groove. (b) Supply and application of moisture insensitive solvent freee epoxy bonding primer over the prepared surface (Floor/Coving) in a thin continues film and work the primer into the surface using a stiff brush or roller. Apply second priming coat on identified light coloured dry patches over first coat to achieve uniform thickness 200 micron of priming coat in all the areas. The approximate coverage rate shall be 5.5-6.5Sqm/Ltr. (c) Supply and application of base layer o pigmented f self smoothing self leveling epoxy underlay spread evenly to maintain 3.0 mm thickness using a serrated trowel followed by spike roller, rolled over the leveled underlay to remove any entrapped air all as per manufacturer instructions and as specified. Apply epoxy based putty to repair the substrate fillingof blow holes/voids and surface leveling by using appropriate products. M&L for removal of filling in the Construction / Expansion joints by chipping manually using hammer & chisel and to make straight edge with saw cutting machine and smooth edge including removal of the debris / rubbish etc. and cleaning concrete using air blowers complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for nosing the damaged edges of the Construction / Expansion joints using Epoxy mortar and make the joints straight and smooth. Filling of the joints using flexible Elastomeric sealant of Polysulphide / Polyurethene make including fixing of backer rod with straight edge finish complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for Coving works on expansion joints : Removing loose particle deposit in the coving area, roughening the tile surface using diamond tipped grinding wheel. Fixing of tape on top and bottom, mixing and application of epoxy primer when the primer is tacky provide coving with epoxy screed and finishing smooth to the the required profile application in total 03 Coats (One bottom coat of epoxy putty to achieve dry film thickness of 90 microns and two top coats solvent based, epoxy resin floor coating to achieve dry film thickness of 200 - 300 microns ) to achieve smooth finish, Coving size 50mmx50mm. Complete all as specified and directed.
